PSN issue again, been in game since about 7.30 but noticed all friends went off line. Seem if you were already logged on it fine but game world does to be a bit empty :(
 
Nights I have been free this week for Destiny - Monday and Thursday.
Nights I have been unable to play Destiny - Monday and Thursday.

I think I have had more trouble with PSN in 2 months than in 5 years of XBL.
 
Its wierd mine was fine til I attempted to change characters - even voice chat was being bulletproof, my FL though wasnt working at all

I logged in before the PSN trouble started, and it was fine. Ish. The party chat I had established beforehand was solid, the game didn't log me out, and I was even able to do strikes with matchmaking. Only thing I couldn't do was form fireteams.

What's going on, Sony? PSN down on Saturday, Monday and Thursday, this is getting ridunkulous.
 
This is so out of order that it can be down this often and for this long. If this becomes a regular occurrence for more than a week I'll just get rid of m PS4. If it can't do online well then it's of no use to me as a games console.

Get rid then if it's that much of an issue. It's a new console, it's going to have issues. It's very annoying but it will be fixed eventually.

So many drama queens. Bet not one persons gets rid. :D

It's very annoying but that's life.

I've heard of white knighting for women on the internet, but never for games companies that can't get their **** together :/

What an outrageous statement. For a start it's got nothing to do with the console, PSN has been pathetic since it's inception the reason people are now starting to get angry is because they are being forced to pay for it to play online and yet there has been no improvements made to the service in fact I think it's getting worse.

We still get maintenance on an annoyingly frequent basis and again, what is this 'maintenance' improving? I count 3 times in the last week alone where PSN has encountered difficulty. When PSN was free you had the whole 'you get what you pay for' scenario but now that they have made this a paid service it's completely unacceptable.

If you bought a car that broke down a couple of times a week or perhaps even a TV that wouldn't turn on twice a week would you put up with it? No, you wouldn't. I have both consoles and I did last gen also but I have always favoured Sony for their exclusives but I will happily say the PSN service has been nothing short of disgusting as of late.

Get rid then. Or just continue complaining, simple options. One is making a statement the other is not.

If you knew it was that bad, why buy it?

1: I very seriously doubt me getting rid of the console will make a statement considering Sony already have my money.

2: Why buy the PS4 when PSN was already terrible? Well I like many other unfortunate gamers thought with the extra income Sony received from PS+ mandatory subscriptions they would at least spend a fraction of the money improving their network infrastructure. Don't think that's too far of a stretch as far as assumptions go.

Lets be honest, its been out for nearly a year. The issue is mainly with PSN. They have huge resources and they are running a paid service. There are websites that have millions of concurrent users and don't tolerate downtime. With the correct investment in their infrastructure they could eliminate these problems yet they haven't. I wouldn't say its asking too much....
