Why is it 'bound to have network issues'? The Xbox 360 was massive, but it never had issues this bad (I know because I had one since launch). And why are you being an apologist for this anyway? We've paid for a service, and the quality of that service is terrible. People are bound to be frustrated, and the negative comments you're seeing are a reflection of that. If you don't feel that way, then that's fine. But don't lecture other people about what they should and shouldn't do.

I'm not lecturing people, it's just the overreaction people have when a service has issues. The only time psn has been down for a lengthly time was the hacking incident. Apart from that it's been pretty good over its life.

Anyway, life has returned now and we can all take our frustrations out on shooting things with big guns. Have fun ;)

It has been down 3 times in the space of a week, each time during peak gaming times. It's not overreacting to be annoyed about this.

Realistically you should get to level 25 before even joining in the Weekly nightfall. At 22 you won't be able to do any damage to the enemies and most things will kill you in a single shot (specially the Vandal Snipers / Stealth Vandals).

At 25 you will have to be VERY careful (again most things will one shot you) but can still contribute by killing Dregs and damaging the Reaper Captains (or drawing their fire).

Thanks to teh issues last night the Strikes we had planned to build our strange coins / vanguard points didn't materialise. At least me secondary level 8 hunter managed to help out in some daily public events earlier in the day. I doubled up on my ascendant shards. :)
 
Well that would explain things. Was in the Crucible and the friends list hadn't been working for ages. It messed up at the start of a game and hung so I had to change character, then couldn't get back on. Kept saying 'lost connection to Destiny Servers' when I selected my character.

Was only 7 marks off Vanquisher VIII and on a good streak too :(

RE: PvP rewards. They are a pile of **** I agree. I was coming top 3 most games I played last night. Got barely any rewards after the matches (they're mostly trash anyway though... seriously why not give us MATERIALS not useless rares). Not to mention getting a static 2 marks for a loss 3 for a win is pretty meh. At least give additional marks for actually doing well.

You wouldn't even be allowed to join a Weekly Nightfall at lvl22 I think. The game would class it as 'impossible' and prevent you joining for leeching.

Luckily this is my 2nd character so I have all Legendary weapons, but you'r right.. might be a struggle, although I just solo'd it with my 28 Hunter.

I got an exotic hand cannon (Last Word) last night for doing the Vanguard Tiger (or whatever it's called) strike on the playlist, which was a nice surprise. I do think they should let you equip two/three exotic weapons though. I can understand not letting you use more than one exotic armour because the effects are usually always active, but you can only fire one weapon at a time so I don't think it's OP.

Last Word is awesome. I'm halfway to maxing mine and it's made me forget all about Thorn. Rapid fire makes it very handy at close range :)

He has The Armamentarium (Titan Chestpiece), Achlyophage Symbiote (Hunter Helm), Light Beyond Nemesis (Warlock Helm), Truth (Rocket Launcher) and an Exotic Chest Engram.

I already have the Titan Chestpiece and Truth from drops. Think i might purchase the hunter helmet for my gunslinger hunter.
