*** The Official Destiny Thread (now includes 2.0 and TTK) ***

After having just over a week off due to the birth of my son, I can't seem to get back into this now having been addicted to it previously. Before, the momentum of grinding for shards/materials and doing the weekly/nightfall etc all felt fun and not like a grind at all, but now that momentum has been broken I'm finding it very hard to get back into it and then it hits you how little content there is for solo'ing at higher levels.

This game is screaming out for more content.

When you hit level 28+ & run through the Vault & weekly strikes early in the week, the daily just isn't enough to keep you coming back & PvP is just meh. They need an event every week & they need more ways to hit level 30. It doesn't help when you run through the raid, hoping for some more armour to bump you to Level 30, but all you come out with is a shader and a load of shards.. You're then sat for a week waiting for your next chance to do the raid and hope something decent drops. :(

I've started more characters just so I have more to do in the game & can get more rewards.

I think they could really use a dynamic content system so they don't have to release content so quickly.

A Horde mode or something similar would be nice, possibly with some sort of scaling reward system.

A story would be nice :D

What Nightfall are we expecting on Tuesday? Venus Nexus? Hope so as its an easy cheese :D
I'll be scouring the friends list on Tue night to get through it. Always anxious about getting Nightfall over and done with.

I'm about to do the Weekly Heroic on 28 if anyone wants to join me just PSN me :)

EDIT: Done

ps3ud0

I nearly did the same yesterday. I actually clenched my butt cheeks as I just realised I was half way to dismantling it. Sad or what eh? :p

Dont sweat it, Ive dismantled fully maxed exotics that would bring tears to your eyes, all in the name of shards for level 30.

Trust me, at 29 with raid gear, shards are what you will desire most.

Do you need all raid gear to make 30? I've just got 2 raid parts and 1 epic and wondered if I would make 30 or not if I fully upgrade it all.

It's 120 light for level 30, Exotic armor gives 30, Raid Legendary armor gives 30 and regular legendary armor gives 27. So you can get away with 3 out of 4 raid armor as long as you have a fully upgraded exotic to take the place of the one you're missing and to be honest it's by far easier this way too because of Xur.

I've got full raid gear barring boots, which I hear dont drop often. No bloody exotic boots available either :(

I ditched my maxed exotic helmet for raid helmet purely on cosmetic grounds, wasteful if course but I'm picky :)

I just switch them as needed, the only raid armor I'm missing is the gauntlets on my Warlock, so I had to switch in the Sunbreakers to up me to level 30 (I prefer to use the Warlock exotic armors), so when the raid gauntlets drop for my Warlock I'll be able to switch back, since the armors are far too useful for me to do without.

Saying that the boots don't drop often, it's all I seem to get :p 2x boots on Titan and 2x on Warlock.

Hoping for boots this coming Friday.

I've kept my Sunbreaker gauntlets to one side as do like the longer solar grenade burn. My thoughts were maybe come DLC there may be other good exotics, so wanted a full set of maxed raid gear so I can swap in and out as needed.

Fingers crossed for boots. Feel like I'll be able to relax and enjoy a little more once I hit 30. Right now I'm just constantly anxious lol :D

just picked Toland's Legacy from the Bounty man, tbh i didnt no what i was picking from him until i looked it up lol Bad JuJu looks good for me

Bad Juju is the best looking gun in the game, its also the one needing a buff the most and has the most horrific bounty steps ever! I still shudder even now, but glad I persisted and had some good help :)
