Nope, not played it it for a few days now and not feeling like i want to either. I've said all along the mechanics of the game are great, the environments and the actual gunplay is nice but the missions are crap, the only thing that makes it worthwhile is playing a few blast'em'ups with mates. I don't see how my playing the current content is a reflection on the value for money of the next dlc anyway though.

Finally got to level 29 this evening and half way to 30 after levelling the raid gear I got last night. Maxed out the chest piece really quickly after farming relic iron

how does a 5% discount take it to under £30?

it's only like £31 to begin with they don't charge full RRP

so a £35 costs £31 normally

and a £25 costs £22 normally

or thereabouts look at the website for actual prices

Ahhh right, that makes more sense. I'll take a look at that then, see if they do them for xbox as well. Theres no way i'm paying £20 for the dlc, even if i have to become "american" for the day to buy it from the us store haha.

Finally got the 25 kill/death spread needed for my Invective shotgun bounty. Man alive, that was intense. Now I can actually go back to playing crunchyball without the constant paranoia and tension.

Ah, who am I kidding? Crunchyball is all about paranoia and tension.

Does that mean you need to kill 25 without dying yourself? Or have a difference of 25 in total?

Have a difference of 25. Goes up by 1 for every kill or assist, goes down by 1 for every death. Most people don't find this difficult because assists count. I suck at PvP, so it was really hard.

I'm on XBO, not that we are missing much. Sony have the money to who're, don't think too much on what you're missing.

As for going from 20 to 30, I didn't focus on it till I did raid. 4 raids in, I got to 30 more by luck and willingness to change exotic arms to helm just so I can get there.

Only get to 30 so I can do Hard Raid without dying quickly.

My other 2 won't need to get there, 29 is all I'll ever aim for now.

Since it's all based on random rewards in the raid, it could take you anywhere from a couple of runs to 20 or more. It's a silly system for levelling up really. I think iron banner will come back soon, so that's another option for the armour you need.

All this talk of raid - do you mean the single Vault of Glass one? Can you not progress to 30 by Strikes alone? I have zero interest in The Crucible.

You can progress to lv29 through content outside of the raid, but it will either take a bit of luck or a lot of time. The new iron banner is said to reward items which can cap at +30 light, which is the max light on a single armour piece. Having 4 pieces of armour with +30 light each is the only way to get to lv30, any of the current legendary armour outside the raid will cap out at +27 light, making lv28 the highest level you can get without either raid or exotic armour.
