Good normal raid on my alt, boots, chest, and suros. Might end up being my main!

Not going to get either of them to 30 unless I can get my 29 warlock into a hard run and it's kind to me!
 
Ive got no exotics yet at level 25 but Im close enough with the coins to buy a Plan C tomorrow. Just wondering if its worth waiting to see next week what any patch balancing brings to the regular game or just get it now and start upgrading?

I would hold off buying it to be honest, especially if you only have one character and thus don't earn a lot of strange coins every week. I've heard if you earn exotics after the patch, you get the upgraded versions that go to 320+ attack which is another reason not to buy it now. You also might find that Xur has some interesting loot for sale next weekend.

Anyone know if the Vex will be getting an upgrade post DLC? Not sure if it's attack has been increased pre-DLC, then other exotics will follow suit, or if it'll have an even higher attack rating.

I'm on the brink of getting the last upgrade slot and undecided whether to spend the exotic shard or not.
 
I think 323 will be the new max so don't think it will get a boost.. I'm in the same position as you and I'm going to hold off until next weekend.
 
Going to level my duplicate Mythoclast but I'll hold off on spending the exotic shard just in case.

Can't bring myself to dismantle it so might as well keep it on one of my characters, saves all the trips to the vault. The gun is an absolute beast on the Nightfall with Solar burn. :D
 
on my way to been a 30 on my hunter at last, joined a group of one of the sites for a normal run and people started to drop (bad connection) just before the Gorgons maze thought to myself am here might as well get the last chest. Couple of minutes after that i get an invite for Atheon on hard few tries later he drops and up pops the Helmet and butt ugly ship......happy days

I think the Vex is the only one that won't need it as the hard mode vault of glass reward, it's already got a higher attack value than what all other pre-DLC exotics will have, 323 vs 320 - unless the 320 isn't final, I don't know. The Necrochasm is also different with an attack of I think, 331. Neither are in Xur's loot table.

Still sucks we have to do it all again! - spent all that time and effort getting to where we are now with fully leveled exotics to have it thrown in our faces by the DLC. They could have just added a couple more perk bubbles etc to the weapons not make us have to relevel them completely from scratch

The good news is the reset doesn't really affect the icebreaker, which is one of the strongest exotics and most people have it ranked up. Most of its usefulness comes from its high damage and regenerating ammo, it will keep both when its reset. The same can't be said for most other exotics
 
Is the upgrade choices Xur has to offer RNG or designed? Be interesting to see if any fan-favourite gets missed in the first wave or takes ages to turn up

wow some thing is up today regarding engram drops, before the last update i think i had 2 legendary drops in all games and just today i have had 4 in total .........3 heavy weapons and a pair of boots all ready to be decrypted on tuesday in the hope of getting the new kit :D
 
Had a blue engram drop earlier from a random strike, decrypted into a purple chest. Pity I can't wear it as it is for Hunter and I'm playing a warlock.
