The new system is akin to buying something in a shop and it costing £6.70. Imagine if, in order to buy it, you needed a total of £6.70 but you needed to use a £5 note to pay for it. It's just a pointless request when you'll get one of them while trying to earn the other. The only thing it will do is see players wasting marks while farming for commendations.

The fact is says you receive a commendation via the post master upon a new rank is enough for me to assume they'll be a one use thing, but hopefully it will be more than one item per commendation!

i bought the expansion pass at the weekend. any ideas how i can download the content in advance or how i'd check if it has?
 
yo guys, what kind of prep have you been doing for the expo??

I have a Pocket Infinity bounty ready to hand in, to collect a 302 atk secondary weapon, a tonne of bounties which will give me my first vanguard commendation to instabuy a piece of vanguard armor (should I buy helmet 1st..?), a couple blue/purple engrams, cryptarch will go up a rank, and plenty of coins / motes to spend at Xur's..!



now all that's left is to part with the ££ and actually buy the damn thing XD
 
29 5k bounties to hand in, a Exotic Bounty for Super Good advice, maxed out my marks for all 3 of my guardians, 8 legendary engrams to get decrypted and 4 packages at the postmaster........... yea tomorrow is going to be mental lol

I've done loads, well zero :) i'm not trading in my exotic weapons for higher attack rating, i don't care about level 30 armour and i don't care about holding onto bounties, they are easy to do anyway.

Just give me the raid and be lucky with new stuff from it, and new exotic weapons :)

lol got 3 more today, seriously bud i don't no whats happening with my hunter i wouldn't put it past him to pick up a exotic engram even though they dont exist as far as i know :p
 
anyone know if the raid helm will be available in normal mode? can't seem to find any information about it. trying to plan out what order to buy armor upgrades in.

if it was anything like VoG, you will want to be using an exotic helmet, so you can hit max lvl with the raid chest / arm / leg armor.

meh, guess I'll just pick whatever vanguard armor piece has the best perks for my playstyle compared to my current gear.
 
Destiny disconnected earlier (7ish) to update the game and it is now updating 2 others files.

Whats the changes? A 1MB, 2MB and a 70somethingMB update.
