Yes, all of them except xur, which in turn unlocks that particular strike. Meaning the nightfall and weekly is then unlocked. You can do it if under lvl 30, Maybe 27? You could do the original nightfalls when 25 anyway so it's probably no different here for lvls. But you do need to do all the new missions except for the xur one.

What i have noticed after changing from the PS4 version to the XBO version is that you get no legendary drops at all on the XBO version.

I got to level 25 on the PS4 and had about 12 shards and nearly full legendary armour and didn't purchase any of it. All was drops from strikes.

XBO version, i have put in twice the hours and nearly level 28 and haven't had a single legendary drop yet. Had to purchase everything.

Is this a known thing or me just being completely unlucky?

I can only speak for the XOne version but I had to buy all of my legendary armour (apart from chest) before getting the raid gear in VoG.

Are you sure? I'm 29, have done all the new missions and it's still locked for me.

I don't know about being a lower level, I am just guessing as you were able to do the lvl 28 nightfalls as a 25. Would be pretty crap if they've changed that as well :\

So you've done all of the patrol missions etc? It unlocks once you've got the mission to do the actual strike. In fact, if you can do the strike on earth as normal then it must be level restricted, if not then you've not done all of the missions. But that would be rubbish if they have restricted it like that :\

I unlocked the strikes with cowboy and I was level 29. It appears to unlock when you do the Eris quests. Obviously we haven't done the xur quest yet so that isn't a requirement to unlock it.

Well got to level 30 with a piece of Vanguard, a piece of Future War Cult, a VoG raid piece and an exotic.

Probably going to splash this recommendation on a Primary, I think.

Pretty much fully leveled up my new pieces of legendary armour. Just need to upgrade my exotic armour with xur and i should be level 31 then i think.

To do the weekly/nightfall strikes you need to complete three quests I believe (which in turn run you through the three missions)

defo more drops to be had. Picked up the Murmur Fusion Rifle per standard, already commended, got a secret handshake legendary shotgun with void (272/331 attack) but best of all during the weekly I got given the Truth!.

Well happy I got the truth! - I got it a couple of weeks ago but didnt bother levelling it up waiting for this DLC - Glad I waited! - At stock its 302 attack - discarded the old one for an exotic shard.

btw guys - wear the new towel you get from completing the quests and you get more when you hand in bounties

Just did the Nightfall and Weekly, not *too* bad compared to the Archon Priest which I think is really hard / boring to do, you just have to be careful in the room before.

Got an exotic chest... for my Warlock. Ah well, better than nowt.

They've raised the level on them to 30, so if you aren't 30 you can't do them, I think.

I am sure you will be ok doing them at lvl 29 if you have 300 atk weapons.

Edit: Ignore me, I thought hawkmoon was bust. It isn't

I did learn however (dunno why i didn't know before) that the explosive rounds perk on fatebringer means the primary target takes less damage. I always thought this was additional damage, but instead it splits the actual damage between target and aoe
