The 2 legendary engrams I kept to decrypt after the update.. They both decrypted to old 27 light legendarys. Did that happen for everyone else that kept hold of some?
Well, I ran the VoG hard mode earlier and everything was still dropping as lower level gear..

all gear from VoG will be the same, they didn't increase the light level of it. why do you think they would increase it?
i reckon the exotic weapons from there will still be the old 300 atk ones too, but could be wrong.

So they locked the nightfall out for people who didn't buy the DLC. Real classy, Bungie. "Oh, you paid money for your game? Well you've had it a couple of months now, so we're going to take away the only bit you still care about unless you give us more".

got up to last boss and was like NOPE.jpg. too many adds for me to handle..

blame Activi$ion, it sounds like one of their standard practices i.e. bleeding gamers for as much $$$ as they can get for as little actual game quality as possible..!
still, £20 isn't exactly breaking the bank these days if you think about it. you go out to a restaurant for an evening, you'll spend FAR more than £20 for much less entertainment. same with cinema etc.
Darn it. I'm half way through the bad juju exotic bounty, any point me finishing it as i have the gun already?
£20 is nothing to me. But the prospect of supporting such an outrageously unfair business practise. I'd rather...

Yes, I handed in the Thorn bounty this morning and got the higher attack rated version. ALL exotic weapons you get now will be the higher attack versions.Darn it. I'm half way through the bad juju exotic bounty, any point me finishing it as i have the gun already?

I'm not sure why people are surprised that some content is locked as the DLC hits. It's pretty much the same with every game with new content. It's not great, I'll admit that, but it's nothing new. The nightfall will go back to the old rotation next week, Bungie have confirmed that already.
They're locking out content that was previously in the game. That's unacceptable.

Edit: Besides, what did you expect them to do? Continue rotating the same 5 strikes forever?
Until that strike rolls around again on the new rotation, then it'll be locked out again for a week.
The flayers strike isn't on the rotation because it's PS4 exclusive, why doesn't the same logic apply to a strike that's DLC exclusive?

if you complete an exotic weapon bounty from now on, you get the new higher atk exotic, not the old 300 max atk one. so don't drop it..!

I didn't realise it was only for this one week, I thought it had been added to the standard rotation. Okay, I might calm down enough now. My Destiny disk gets a reprieve from the scissors for now.
