good morning on Destiny today finally managed to pick up the last pieces of raid armour for my titan and warlock with good stats so they should be 31 by the weekend, i got another chest and arm pieces for my hunter with better stats than the other stuff (wouldn't have taken much) and to top it of i got dragons breath from the first chest....... i didnt pick it up from xur as i have the Ghorn and thought it wasnt going to be used

just pick up the god of war shader
Is that the red one? Think I got that in a vanguard package the other day. Does look good with everything

Yup, I've done it a few times as a Warlock. I typically save my Radiance and intentionally let the first shrieker death blast kill me, then res and take out the next shrieker. I then outrun the blast and get in the room.

Yeah it's been my main shader since I got it, looks nyshe with everything. Would like to get some of the dead orbit black/white ones though. Might level them up after next vanguard rank.
After the VoG raid last night I had a quick run to the first chest on CE with my hunter (mainly to test out my "Don't touch me" gauntlets - epic btw) and well RNG must have been watching over me. I got 2 radient energy (where are my shards dammit!) and.... G'horn!
To say I was happy would be an understatement!

After the VoG raid last night I had a quick run to the first chest on CE with my hunter (mainly to test out my "Don't touch me" gauntlets - epic btw) and well RNG must have been watching over me. I got 2 radient energy (where are my shards dammit!) and.... G'horn!

I will be trying my Hunter solo to bridge on CE with the "Don't touch me" arms, theoretically I should be invisible most of the run as long as I don't get blown up or swarmed.

On my run I was basically invisible from the first door right the way to the 5th. A couple of times it was a bit touch and go (got double swiped) but with shadowjack (IIRC that is the correct subclass option) you get around 6 seconds of invisibility. Balance this will going crouched, invisibility from your own melee and hitting R2 when super and you have what feels like continuous invisibility.
And yes it did feel like christmas, especially after getting naff all over the last week or so (from Cryptarch, VG rank ups and NF completions). Only downside was it happened at midnight which meant I ended up wide awake when I really needed to sleep.

Exact same thing with me, except I got Ice Breaker instead of Gjallarhorn - I already have the Horn
Even down to the time - I think I got it around 12:30am. As an added bonus, I also got 2 shards
I've been waiting months for Ice Breaker. I didn't bother buying it when Xur sold it and regretted it ever since. Now, with the exception of Thorn (which I'll work on this week), I have all the weapons I want from the game.
Get the Crucible sorted! I'm still sitting on Xyer's bit waiting for someone to do it together - makes it miles easier/fun than solo sniping in the back room.
The Wizard arrives in the 3rd or 4th wave, so as long as you clear the waves in between the horde that arrives when the Shrieker is out, it'll be fine.
Main issue is if solo and it's a wipe, you have to start the wave again.
This weekend is going to be a Crucible weekend! Got Thorn, Bad Juju and Invective bounties to do. Already had the last two weapons but sharded them after getting the bounties again.
So yeah, hopefully by Saturday evening I'll be good to join you against Xyor!
This game really takes the **** out of me sometimes. Bought No Land Beyond from Xur the other week because, well why not, nothing else to spend my coins on? I then get it from the first chest in CE a few days later, ok just bad luck I guess :/
Last night I got No Land Beyond again, this time for defeating Crota. I then did the nightfall....my reward? Yep, No ****ing Land Beyond!!!
I wouldn't mind but it's the worst gun IN THE WORLD, EVER and to get it 4 times in less than 2 weeks is taking the ****.
