I just got my first exotic bounty - I have chosen to do the Bad Juju one (Pocket Infinity & an Exotic Machine Gun were the others)
I wanted an exotic main weapon (I have Plan C from Xur already so didn't want PI)
as Pulse rifles have just been boosted BJ sounded a good choice - I would have preferred a scout or hand canon but so pleased to get my first Exotic bounty at Lvl 30.
If anyone is deliberating whether to buy Plan C from Xur or not just buy it - once you upgrade it to have fast charge this thing is a beast and one shots most enemies/players

I will have to double check what my 100% strength setup is (I may have got lucky on the raid drops).
). I got naff all, but she got the pulse rifle; her first elemental primary. Getting though the Abyss was a cakewalk, surviving at the end I found more trial and error depending on where the cursed thrall were!
Slowly getting there now, up to lvl 28 from grinding Strikes, Bounties and doing Quest's. Not having much luck with legendary engrams at all though as yet, which is making the grind slightly harder.

Todays NF: (Taken from Destiny forums)
Nexus with:
Epic
Nightfall
Void Burn
Angry
Juggler
Splash damage ahoy!
Weekly heroic just has Juggler.
Well at least it's not omnigul again this week, weekly might drag on a bit with no burn.

Yeah splash damage was a pain, the last time I remember the servitor room was pretty difficult but apart from that reasonably easy NF. Weekly sucks with no burn, the minotaur/praetorian that spawns behind you at the top takes so much ammo to kill.
As a fireteam I think up top is still the "safest" option. Rocket the Minotaur and then finish him off with primary (to get heavy / special to drop due to juggler).
Solo wise I would probably head into the "cheese spot" on the other side. Difficult to describe but the one you have to jump into roughly at your 10-11 o'clock from the jump down.
On the NF with void burn though, forget it. That spot is a splash damage death zone (based on ROC runs).
My first choice loadout will be:
Atheon's Epilogue (I don't have WoC)
Praedyth's Revenge
Truth
or
Vex Myth*
Praedyth's Revenge
One Way Ticket (void)
*I know this doesn't do void damage but it will still melt all of the "scrub enemies" in the Servitor section.
I'm only going to bother with the NF's. I don't need any more SC at the moment.
. Much prefer the spot to the back of the room.I used to try them solo but it isn't difficult to get a LFG group for NF/Weeklies. For NF I would go with your first choice, though would run Corrective Measure up until the last big as with large number of ads I think CM can take more out but against a single target like the minotaur Truth is better.
I don't think Vex is a bad shout either, from memory of the last time this strike was NF, all the shanks int he servitor room have solar shields.
I don't need the SC either but it isn't a difficult or long strike so I always figure I might as well as sometime they might be useful for more than hoping Xur sells what I want.

Paul_M said:The cheese spot is doable with void damage, just need to make sure you retreat to the far left when his shots start to come through, even then you will still take a bit of damage. My issue with that spot is normally getting into it without getting taken out by the minotaurs . Much prefer the spot to the back of the room.
) but whenever I aggro the boss it is like being in a void bloodbath. Solo'ing the NF in that area would be quite interesting....I wish I had a stronger void sniper, PR is good but lacks punch even with void burn. I stupidly got rid of a 294 attack one I got from the ROC playlist. It may have been a "rare" but hit like a truck (something like double the precision damage of PR against the undying mind).
The long bow synthesis is pretty decent, same impact model as the LDR sniper rifle, so hits hard. I think the crucible vendor has a void version. I got one from an engram or rank up package sometime ago. It's my go to for void nightfalls, especially nexus as I have the unflinching perk!
I did have some Dead Orbit thing but it only had 3 rounds in the mag. Hit harder than PR but did less damage over an entire mag.
I wish you could use commendations or motes of light (or something..) to allow a re-roll of a vendors weapons elemental damage type.
Say:
150 marks + commendation to buy LDR Arc
Commendation + 5 MoL to re-roll as void / solar
No other changes bar the element type.
Heck it would be nice if they were to change on a rotation (same guns but different elemental burns).
I have so many marks and nothing to spend them on (have enough materials to last quite a while).
