Those stats are 3 months old so kinda irrelevant now considering Gjallarhorn and Truth are now 331.

they only made a 14.5% increase or something like that to the damage going from 300 to 331
Hezen will still wipe the floor of a 331 truth
Hezen Vengeance is actually the only raid weapon that I have sharded (obviously not including dupes). Without tracking, it's just not worth having when compared to Hunger of Crota.
Speaking of Hand Cannons, I received a rare DLC one from a ROC strike earlier which looks pretty decent: Polite Denial 0/1. It has 94 impact, same as Timur's Lash, but has a larger clip (9 vs 7) and it's range is higher than any exotic or Fatebringer (Timur's beats is slightly: 48 vs 45). It maxes out at 294 damage, but I'm thinking it could be pretty lethal in the Crucible.

I'm doing the Bad Juju bounty again so I've got 25 strikes to do, happy to drag you through Roc strikes to get geared up...
As long as have the various bars over 50% then I find you don't really notice much difference after that.
I personally can't put myself through the grind of levelling up different bits of armour for the tiny bonuses you get for having a couple of points more intelligence or whatever.
For instance I bought HoPF this weekend, didn't even look at the stat rolls, don't care.
Solo'd Crota on my Warlock last night which was "fun". Seeing him niot drop when hit by two G'horn rockets was "interesting" especially as I was already moving towards him at the point he should have started to kneel (you move as the second rocket is en route). No idea how I managed to get away from him at that point. 
I must have just been a tad slow firing the second rocket (although how I could have mashed R2 faster I don't know).
Took three swords in the end because of that. Got **** all for it to boot.
My wife has the checkpoint so will try again before for HoC before the reset (No doubt she will get HoC & I will get sod all..).
Everything up to that point was relevatively straight forward. Still didn't get the gauntlets I needed on my second Warlock so allow they to be 32 on their own armour sets. Would also like to see the WL helmet drop so I can mix up my armour sets even futher (run HoPF & stil be 32 for example).

Would you be able to run sword? I can run G'horn duty and my wife will play a game of "try not to die".

What sort of time suits you? Should be fine our end from 7PM (8PM your time IIRC) onwards.
For Intellect, Discipline and Strength, I will try and pick armour which maximises what I need for a given task. For instance, on my Hunter, having maxed out Strength means Blink Strike is available every 31 seconds rather than every 69 seconds. That's very handy in the Abyss!
Elsewhere, it's handy having grenades available and so maxing out Discipline means it's available every 27 seconds rather than 60 seconds. Coupled with the Armamentarium (or something else which doubles your grenades) and you can be a grenade spewing machine!

Those damage figures are if all the clusters hit. This simply isn't going to happen unless you're firing at a tank in which case you should be using a black hammer. If you're firing at a flying/small target you can also forget any bonus damage, so Truth will do about as much/more damage while being much more reliable. That being said Truth probably isn't a very good candidate for a rocket launcher in PvE if you have an exotic primary/secondary that is better suited to the encounter.
I was really disappointed running Truth on my Titan when he did the Moon DLC mission for the daily heroic. The final bit, firing at the crystals, took 12 direct hit rockets with Truth to take it down! It took 6 with a Gally.
Big difference!

Is there anyone on X1 still needing to do the nightfalls before reset? I have somehow missed doing it on two of my chars this week so hopefully look to get them done tonight, should be on from about 20:00.
I need to do it on both my chars, was working away last week and haven't been well over the weekend.
Doing a Crota HM at 8 but could run it with you after?
