So, Hard Light. Worth getting? By my understanding, it was considered weak BEFORE the latest auto rifle nerf.

Question is: is there ever a reason to use a Hard Light if you can use a Soviet Suros Regime instead?

I've heard its terrible.. but I'm buying anyway as I need it for the exotic list.

I'll probably give it a whirl and make my own mind up.. people slate the Monte Carlo but for me it is an excellent gun!
 
I have a pre-DLC Monte Carlo. Wasn't overly impressed with it at the time, but I understand it has had a stability buff? Might be worth reXurbishing it when I get the chance.
 
Hard Light is the best looking and sounding gun in the game IMHO... I prefer it over Suros but it's an acquired taste.
 
I'm getting Hard Light to complete my exotic collection. I'll probably play with it for a while in PvE just to try it out but I doubt I'll use it much - not a big fan of auto rifles.

Now I just need to start levelling all my exotics. Of the 21, I've only fully levelled 9 of them. Another 4 have all perks unlocked but not all purchased. So that leaves 8 to grind. It's gonna take a while...
 
Argh, I am now officially fed up with the "kill Xyor" part of the Thorn bounty. None of my friends are ever online to give me a hand, and I keep wiping because of stupid bull-excrement like yellow-healthbar enemies following me further into a safespot than they normally do.
 
I'm at the Xyor part on my current Thor bounty, but I'm not finishing it until the new DLC comes out as I assume they will release higher level weapons then, same with some other bounties, I'm not finishing off the last stage on them.
 
Anyone want to team up to do it? PS4. I'm really struggling to do it solo. The PvP part was a breeze by comparison, and I suck at PvP.

Can help out if you catch me online some time...tbf it is meant to be a team exercise :) I did solo it way back, but seemed to have been a bit beefed up last time I helped someone with it a while back.
 
Bought hard light and the titan boots. Thats my exotic collection fully complete. All characters level 32. Nowt left to do on destiny now. bored. Whens house of wolves out again? I bought bloodborne in the meantime to tide me over lol

If you are using the Shrieker room as your safe spot, its really not that safe, as the shrieker spawns more yellow level stuff, mainly wizards which you say are a pain. You need to get out and face them like a man, theres nothing much that spawns once your out in the open that you can't handle.

What system are you on? If its xbox (either flavour) I don't mind helping you out with the bounty. Not sure why as I hate the thorn with a passion, fed up of getting owned by it in crucible, the annoying part is I'm not as effective with it :]

I switch to Vex on some maps but the above combo is ridiculous for PVP for my playstyle.

It's essential you set up your weapons correctly, for instance you really need the stability perks enabled on corrective measure and Vex. If Vex had the Red Death (health regen) perk it would be my go to, such a brilliant perk for PVP.

Got to rank 4 last night and finished on a high. Bought the armour and now I am out of glimmer again. Need to farm more so I can get another set of the armour (for both warlocks) and Jolders Hammer.

I had one game right near the end which didn't give me a medallion on a loss :confused:, this left me 13 points short after the next win. I then had to find a match where my team knew how to inhale oxygen to get those final points (exaggeration but that is how I felt).

My last match though was a blast. I picked up both heavy ammo drops (first with my team, second as a denial) and then let loose. Received the Reign of Terror and 3 x Machine lord medals in quick succession. Everything just seemed to fall into place on that game. Such a shame that it didn't last that long as the match was over so quickly.

I am tempted to go for rank 5 (told myself I wouldn't...) just for gold spiral. Why do I do this to myself?!
 
I would go for rank 5 to do the glitch next month.

Basically if you login or something before the reset and stay in orbit then join a tower 2-3 mins after reset you can buy anything you want from the IB vendor.
you have to swap a piece of armour or something along those lines iirc. there should be a reddit thread on how to do it properly. i've never looked into it because i'm never on at that time of the day.
