Interesting how Will of Crota is already higher than the core game's Strikes!
 
Having had the game back a week doing just average strikes (lvl 22) whats this Iron banner gibberish your all talking about and how do i get on it ? isit DLC? PVE? PVP?

It's a week long PvP event that finished at 9am this morning. It's different from the Crucible because level differences actually count for something, rather than everything being normalised like in normal PvP.
 
Had enough glimmer to max Praedyth's Timepiece :)

Just sat in the shrieker room doorway and battered Phogoth, 250 per bullet from timepiece and P&T swapping with IB for ammo, easy peasy, first time I've soloed a nightfall in ages.

Soloed the Nightfall. I feel like a badass. Fatebringer, LDR 5001, One Way Ticket 000 (arc version). Used the shrieker room like the big old sissy that I am.
 
Felwinters Lie with shot package is ridiculous, like a fusion rifle without the charging!

Silimars Wrath I am determined to like, counter balance has cut out the lateral inaccuracy, apparently once you unlock perfect balance it is a pretty lethal weapon in PvP. At the moment though it needs full down stick to stay on target, kills pretty quick though.

I like silimars wrath, I've got one with glass half full, perfect balance and persistance.

I do wish they would bring back decent impact ARs again though. ideally they should have separated PvE and PvP weapons entirely so as to prevent this idiotic situation that they have now of marshmallow guns with 10ft range.

I noticed yesterday that most of my matches were against players with "poor" connection to the game.

Overall though I still did ok. Nearly at 300 of the 500 points required for Thorn. I am re-doing the bounty after rage deleting it two weeks ago. Using Atheons Epilogue is tough though! Managed to stay positive in all bar one game which I felt was pretty good (the amount of near kills I got which would have been kills had I been using anything bar AE was frustrating!). My Felwinter's Lie & Deviant mavity did me proud - I just need to pay more attention to the ammo counter... Going toe to toe with another shotty user and then realising I am out of shotty ammo :eek::o.

Hope to finish off the PvP portion of the bounty tonight and then take on Xyor.

Got all three NF's done as well with Sieze and the Mrs. I got naff all as rewards but finally managed to get a void fusion rifle from a legendary engram drop. :D

The Mrs got Patience and Time & some shards so she was happy enough.

Thanks to Sieze for letting us join right at the end on our first run. :)
 
I swear this game is laughing at me. I've been lucky in my time with the game considering I have every exotic weapon (bar Necrochasm), including a load of duplicates like 3 Gjallarhorns, 3 Icebreakers, 2 Thunderlords, 2 Hawkmoons, 4 Suros and loads others. However, the one weapon I really want, Black Hammer, continues to elude me. 3 more Crota kills last night turned into 2 more weapons which I already have. I think I've had all the other normal mode weapons at least 4 times each (with the fusion rifle at least 8 times), yet Black Hammer still won't drop for me. I must be up to at least 45 Crota kills now. So much for the "smart loot" system.

I only really want it as well so I can have a go at soloing Crota on hard mode. I'll probably end up getting it when it's no longer relevant and all the HoW weapons are better than it.
