*** The Official Destiny Thread (now includes 2.0 and TTK) ***

Yeah the amount of times I got killed by it in the IB was almost comical. Well that and Hawk-awesome..

I saw less users with it the Crucible when doing the bounty but I think this is down to a larger player base, many of which are not of a (light) level where they could use Thorn (thankfully!)

A few of us on PS4 are speed running the daily on 30..

I'm fastest atm with a time of 1:54.. I'll post the video soon..

Can anyone do it quicker????

Go on.. Give it a shot....

Gonna be fun now that we have Thorns :D can't wait to level it up.

1.1.2: Vault space will be expanded to hold to 24 armour, 36 weapons and 24 general items (they've disabled the pop-up comparison window in your vault on PS3 and Xbox 360_.

Too late Bungie...

ps3ud0
Totally agree, as a lot of my weapons I've scrapped not by choice, but because of vault space.

Now that BL Handsome Jack is out and my copy should arrive this weekend, I think my time on Destiny will be numbered to Tuesday/Wednesday weeklies and possible raid only till HoW.

By the way, anyone seen the Samuel L. Jackson Ghost parody on Youtube?

Can't link it as it contains sweary but it's FUNNY! I wish we have guest voices, even if I have to pay token amount for such DLC...

I am getting more into the PVP side of Destiny now. It makes a refreshing change from the PVE side. Thorn is just so satisfying to use - coming from someone who has never used hand cannons in the crucible before.

I will still play it though as my wife really enjoys it still.

I wish Bungie would explain what's going to happen with our exotic weapons with the HoW release. At it stands I have all the major exotics maxed out, and I'm not bothering with the lesser ones as I don't see the point in putting XP into them if I may have to do it all again. If I knew all the XP would be retained, and I'd only have to max out the last 3 pips again for example, I'd happily spend some time upgrading the exotics I don't use much, just in case they get buffed and become useful in the future.

I'm pretty sure you will need to upgrade them to a new attack level, but after feedback from last time, it's not going to involve completely levelling them up.

Hope we get a decent selection of new exotics and some more exotic bounties

Thorn is an amazing weapon, especially on PvP.

I also like The Last Word, I always feel like Clint Eastwood when I take down punks.

Decided to get the bounty done last night or at least see how far I could go, quite surprised that from a start point on 30/500 got it done within a hour and a half :D Swordbreaker/Jolders hammer was the main stay of my kills, didn’t use AE much at all apart from the odd nicked kill from others players :p. Now just the long task of levelling it up, hoping Xur has hand cannon telemetries today then

Ruin Wings 98 STR

Achlyophage Symbiote +94 Discipline

Obsidian Mind + 71 Intellect / +66 Strength

Mida Multi-Tool

Exotic Shard

Gloves Engram

Will grab the ruin wings in case I ever level up my titan

Some good items for sale, but nothing for me this week.

If anyone doesn't have MIDA, I'd highly recommend it. Really useful for the Abyss and Crota, and great fun running around doing Patrol with the 3 (one hidden) different agility perks unlocked. It's also my go-to weapon in Crucible as I find it so easy to aim with compared to other weapons.

Been waiting these to be sold for this reason :D, as I never seem to get Armour drops only weapons.
There have been so many times I've had to leave 3+ purple ammo cakes in an area when moving on, it's ridiculous. Not to mention that you get 4/5 rockets with every drop. I see a purple cake drop and I know everything around me is about to die :D

When Ruin Wings work properly they're amazing. There are times when you can use your heavy as a primary pretty much. On a second run through of the Nightfall this week I used Thunderlord almost entirely from start to finish, and I didn't have a particularly light trigger finger! :D

This is what I wanted to hear :D, and at least I have something to spend my strange coins on as well

In-case no one has seen it yet update on the Vault storage

oday, the dimensions of your Vault provides for the storage of twenty (20) ARMOR pieces, twenty (20) WEAPONS, and twenty (20) GENERAL items – you know, things like materials, shaders, emblems, ships, vehicles, etc.

While our progenitor Guardian above dreamed of things to come, you, should you fancy yourself a veteran collector in Destiny, have another more pressing and practical question: where am I going to store all of my stuff?!

Update 1.1.2 will push the boundaries of your secure repository. The new dimensions will let you store twenty-four (24) ARMOR pieces, thirty-six (36) WEAPONS, and twenty-four (24) GENERAL items.

In the case of the Vault expansion, it became clear that we would be pushing very limited memory constraints on older generation hardware. We had a choice: leave the Vault as-is, or find some kind of compromise to enable it safely. We weighed the options, with player feedback in mind, and decided to move forward with the expansion by disabling the item comparison feature within the Vault on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Item comparison will continue to function within the Vault on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and in all other contexts on all platforms.
