Well the Exotic option for the hunter is relatively naff. I would go as far as to say it is the worst Exotic helm available to the hunter class. The specific roll is also weak (although I would need to double check against the two my Mrs has).

Suros is quite nice even factoring in the AR nerf (affected Suros the most). I still held my own fine with it in the Iron Banner and it still hits like a truck in PVE.

However, if you already have a similar archetype legendary AR (Vanquisher) it may be worth holding onto your SC's.
 
I've been flopping between Thorns and Red Death in PVP, not sure Suros is really worth it. Coming from normal FPS games thou I do miss having an auto rifle. How is the recoil on it and damage?

Suros is as stable as it gets, but its not at nice as it was damage wise since they killed auto rifles in the last patch, is it still viable? Just about, based purely on its stability. I haven't used it as much since the patch. Ive been using Juju and Red Death in crucible more since the last patch, I tend to use Suros to get warmed up and to get my eye in, then switch to one of the others.

Having said that, I think Ill buy another 2 for my alts for convenience and in the hope ARs are rebalanced again.

All the rolls on Xur's gear this week are pretty terrible:

Armamentarium
Xur: 114 Discipline
Mine: 135 Discipline

ATS/8 Arachnid
Xur: 66 Discipline (Is this correct? Is there nothing on Strength as well)
Mine: 65 Discipline | 66 Strength (non-upgraded)

Starfire Protocol
Xur: 133 Intellect
Mine: 160 Intellect
 
I might pick up one incase they change things, and I will save the rest of my coins for now. I will need another Ice breaker as I'm too lazy to switch between my chars.

I'll be grabbing Armamentarium for my Titan as he doesn't have an exotic chest. The stat roll doesn't really bother me too much, want it for the ammo and 'nades!

Will probably hang on to it for a bit and see if a decent upgrade comes along. I'm sure I'll have had about another 3 NLBs by then so the extra shard to upgrade it won't be a problem! :D :D

Another dude who did a NF with me and bagged an exotic... OweO bagged Galla and Monte Carlo AT LEAST the other night, and now RedRooster bagged Hard Light :(

Got my Titan up to level 30 now. Still missing a legendary or exotic helm though so that is as far as I can go until I get one. RoC grinding and maybe getting lucky on a CE NM raid *hint hint*.

You finally cracked and trashed one of your warlocks then? :)

I still need CE normal for my titan after reset, only one armour drop from two runs so far.

I actually ended up just chilling out doing some patrols for materials, it's not a bad way to farm green/blue gear for plasteel, mats, glimmer (40-50 per chest) and marks. Quite enjoyed doing my old Venus chest farming run :)

Yep, Bluey has had a makeover - she now has red hair and orange eyes! :p. Went to level 28 in one day and then did a bit of grinding to hit level 30 yesterday.

I could really do with a quick run through from the thrall hallway on CE NM (so just DS & Crota). I can't do my usual tank solo method so would need help. I will put a post in the raid thread.
 
Fastest way from level 8 to 20? My Hunter (Red) is at level 8 and I want her maxed before reset ideally... I have a full set of armour and weapons ready to use in my Weekly/VoG NM after Tuesday :p

Run the missions (heroic if possible) and complete every bounty available to you (both from the bounty tracker and Eris).

Kill everything that moves in every mission to maximise your possible return.

1 or 2 of the upgrades were ok. I grabbed the mask of the third man.
