Yep, there was a bit about it in the weekly update so you have to spend 8 hours in orbit to get the glitch (I assume some ppls will still try to do this).

Nightfall is Omnigi - Triple burn :p & Epic
Weekley is Solar burn - been awhile since we had a solar one.

LOL I think I'll be one of them if it saves me a week grinding for my warlock helmet etc. Still gonna play to 5 on my hunter for the gear.

I'm not going to be on during the day anyway so I made sure I was in orbit, plugged the pad in and then put something heavy on both sticks to make the games think I'm pushing them (the old oblivion trickeroo).

Hopefully wont kick me but if it does then no biggy, be playing anyway.
 
Looking forward to IB, hopefully has gloves for hunters then I should be able to hit lv32 without ever running a single Raid. Also going too try and get my Titan some items too so I can hit lv30 there for weeklies. Finally got my 2nd hunter to LV20 so I can now get 27 coins a week :D.

If anyone wants to party up for IB drop me a message on PSN TehMoe, I will be on most nights grinding out between my hunter/titan.

Damn could've done the glitch. Tempted to level my three characters up to level 4 for the helmets, have the lash already.

Although when HOW comes out will we just be able to buy a level whatever it is helmet or upgrade existing ones?

I've just found one the glitch worked as well. I thought the idea of the late start was to stop the glitch. Oh well, time to grind.:rolleyes:

No mate not at all, all just having a laugh and abit of banter as per. I had more fun doing it the proper way anyway and DAMN that sniper's trash. Think it was made from real pokeballs rather than energy.
 
2 1/2 already on IB, should get my Spear by tomorrow with any luck and the hand cannon by Friday :D

god i hate PVP on Destiny ..... it needs dedicated servers
 
I re-rolled my Gheleon's Demise (IB scout rifle) yesterday that dropped during the last IB. It's such a lottery re-rolling the weapons. A couple of times I thought I had a decent roll and should stop, rolled once more and ended up with Luck in the Chamber, armor piercing rounds and Firefly! I think that'll do for now.

Should be fun if we can re-roll weapons in HoW.
 
Got the hang of the titan now, switched to defender, great fun on control. Highlight = 4 enemies running at heavy spawn and just me running from the opposite direction, they were all set to mow me down, but popped a bubble, did a little dance, grabbed the heavy and shotgunned the first two that came in :)

Amazing the number of people that just saunter into the bubble when you're looking straight at them with a shotgun....it's never going to end well m8s!

That and when you have half the other team taking cover in a bubble and along you come with a FoH or NB as if that bubble's going to save you :p Got to about rank 2.4 last night and was quite enjoying it (really should play more PvP), only downside is the games were you come up against a team of red bar's and can't hit the side of a barn door, then it becomes a slightly frustrating.
 
Heh, not often that someone has their super ready for it though :) Last guy that tried FoH landed just outside the bubble, destroyed the bubble but left me unharmed, then got shotgunned in the face :D

I'll probably be on later for more IB, got a work leaving do so my reaction times will be proportional to how late I show up
 
Is that offer still on that if you buy Destiny on PS3 you can upgrade to PS4 for nowt? The PS3 version is £5 cheaper on the PlayStation Store.
 
I cannot believe that I have just read that the matchmaking for Trials of Osiris will be by connection rather than skill level as is alledgely the case with other PvP! :eek:

Everyone suffering the ridiculous matchmaking on Iron Banner with people from the back of beyond on flaky WiFi this week must be so glad that it is actually skill based according to Budgie and not some elaborate joke on us all.

Why keep the decent games only for Osiris?

I wanted Trials of Osiris to be a combined PvP and PvE event - two fireteams racing to complete the trial and hindering the opposing team, etc.

Alas it will be a PvP grind (to upgrade weaps?) instead!
