If your good enough at killing then its a huge help too the team, no point is just capping if your killed and the other team gets it, every team needs some slayers.

Also do drop us some feedback from Gamescom, I'm going to euro gamer expo but that will be after TTK is out, was planning to go gamescom with some friends but its is the same time my best mates wifes baby is due.

Agreed - Objective games always need slayers. Be careful though, those guys are real try-hard ******** and play for stats :p

This is where K:D ratio and cap numbers don't tell the whole story.

If your just defending an objective all game long and not actually capturing anything - thats helping your team.

If your sat above a doorway somewhere glitched into some spot shooting everybody that comes out of it and not attempting to clear people from a capture point. That's not helpful. Likewise the people who can see that B needs taking, but won't take it and just hang around it and tr to kill people that come near it helps nobody either.

Don't confuse camping try hard noobs with slayers.
 
If the opposition are controlling the points well, you can nullify their advantage by simply playing defensively and not dying. Particularly if they get a triple cap, just stay the hell alive until you can get a capture in. I've seen some mega swings of 4-5000 during a triple cap period when people don't play smart.

My K/D this IB has average around 2.5 and I've got a lot more wins just playing solo, than my old strategy of just playing aggressive and capturing points. Not gifting the opposition points by dying can make a big diff :)

Should save some abit of cash. Not been on destiny fdor abit as I'm on batman + when TTK comes out it'll probably nullify all my gear so I'll think of it as a fresh slate.
 
Yeah that's the one, it says at the top of the game box pic. You get the base game and all DLC'S etc. I'm just gonna give the game/DLC's to my nephew and just keep TTK.

Here we go again. I need one more win on IB to get to rank 5. Now at 12 losses in a row and counting. Will this madness ever end?
 
I'm tempted to switch platforms and get the legendary edition on Xbone. From the look of that Amazon link, it's the same price as the expansion alone practically.
 
Have been getting back into Destiny over the last few weeks after a while off, have got both my characters to 34 now. Looking to start doing raids again and 34/35 PoE but unfortunately all the guys I used to play the game with have stopped and have no intention of coming back, do many around here still play on PSN? I see a lot of XB1 matchmaking in the other thread.

My brother is also back playing I know he's raided with guys on here before (CoreyMcK20). My PSN ID is Drunzer so if anybody doesn't have me on their friends list and needs an extra man for anything please feel free to add me.

Yeah still plenty of people on PS4....I wouldn't mind cranking out a few PoEs some time, still got gear to ascend so the more etheric light the better.
