I hate the MMO party of this game where it forces you to do stuff over and over every week in order to get the best gear.

I really like crucible but without dedicated servers this may be the last expansion I buy unless I really like the new system.

I don't want to have to spend 10 hours a week doing raids, weeklies and nightfalls to try and get a specific weapon/armour drop or farm for currency, etc.

Now I understand why people spent 24 hours a day playing world of warcraft. The games designed to keep you playing if you want the best stuff. I would rather something like BF4 or COD where it's easy to unlock a specific weapon which you can then use for the rest of the game.
 
So annoying there not adding in Matchmaking to the end content.. I've been trying for over a week to get POE Lvl 35 done but finding a group takes so much time!

It's actually great there is no matchmaking.

99.9% of people in matchmaking are idiots and they don't use mics (official stats from destiny stat tracker).

Communication is essential for end game content. How do you know when to take the essence off someone without mics?

Also have you never heard of Destiny LFG? Reddit Fireteams? etc?

You can get 2 people who want to do a POE 35 who have mics and Gjallahorns, etc within 5 minutes.
 
For PoE 35 you really need 3 people with mics and decent skill, theres a lot of things you have to keep a check on and it needs communication all the time. I tend to either use these forums for r/fireteam for match making, LFG I tend to just find 12 year olds who think their MLG pros at everything.

I will be online this Saturday and will jump in a 35 with you. If there's no one else online I can grab someone from LFG/Reddit to crack it (need my final Elder Cipher!).
 
Doing PoE 35 without mics would be a royal ballache....I guess you could use a system of emotes to signal when the taint needs passing and stuff...but how do you arrange it?

I do think it should be added to nightfalls though, they are easy to do with no comms, easy enough to solo most of the time, and it gives solo/matchmaking only players a decent chance at exotics/etheric.

In fact, I would add it to trials (controversial)....more easy meat for those flawless runs :D

Yeah, cheers for the invite last weekend. PoE 35 completed in about 20 minutes :D
 
20 Mins.. wow... tried it twice this week, 2 hours each and still not done it.. I'll defo be online from 12 your time for a few hours. also likely early morning your time.

I'm good for 12, can be online from about 8-9am our time or by early do you mean "just getting in from a good night out" early ;)
 
Make that 3 times.... got him down to 10-15 %each time but always get killed taking mines down.

add it into trials and then most of us would have gone flawless every week as you would be a "proper" fireteam who were communicating against 10 year olds running in like rambo.
 
Yeah NFs are easy enough, its just a strike with some extra modifiers, we have done all the strikes enough times before we get too the NF anyways. For Trials I would say they need to had level requirements too, I faced a team once of level 224-27 players and I one hit someone with hip fire on TLW. I think anytime your taking 30% more damage you should not be able to play, its just a free win.
 
depends on if its a team of players under lv 34.
Have friends on PSN who run lower characters through. Last one I saw they went flawless with a lv 24 on the team. It was explained that they spend a lot of time in PvP though :p

Yeah, that was just the Skolas fight itself. Write and Jay invited me once you had to leave for your beauty sleep :D
