*** The Official Destiny Thread (now includes 2.0 and TTK) ***

Would have been a bit of an ask for casual players.

Finish off 3 majors...some take a couple of GG hits, say that take 2 GGs to do. 15 more GG kills, with no symbiote and no combustion that's another 5 GGs, assuming you land every shot. Would a bit of a pain in the backside running with randoms, without tricked out super gear.

That was one of the easiest ones for me. Run the Undying Mind, wear the helmet that gives extra orbs, and lay waste to all the majors on the stairs. Ran that with randoms and managed it easily, though I will say that the randoms all seemed to have their head screwed on and all doing the same thing, so we'd chain our supers and not try to steal kills from each other. There was much dancing at the end.

Got the time but have I got the stomach for it? Kills in the Crucible with the sniper rifle is a royal pain in the bum. :D
 
I've decided not to bother with crucible sniper kill gunsmith quests on all 3 characters from now on. It doesn't really make a massive difference overall as I still earn 80% of the max reputation in that week and its not going to be a weapon type every week.
 
"working from home" tomorrow as I couldn't get the day off ;). My copy is coming from Amazon so should be on around lunch, give me enough time to do a days work quickly and stagger the deployment off it.

Same here. I've done all 5 weapons on one character, and I'll do the PvE weapons on the other two. I like PvP but I enjoy doing it when I'm in the mood, not when I'm forced to do it.
 
The omolon sniper was alright, I hate how much flinch it has and the low impact but it has a nice sound/look too it. After a few games where I got 0 headshots I finished it in 2 games. The FR was a pain in the ass, its so slow and PRs are just soo outclasses by everything.

It gets better the closer you are to enemy guardians

Run into the middle of a close quarters fight and then see how quick you kill people!

My PS4 arrives in a day or two. I'm sort of hyped to get back in to Destiny after not playing since vanilla, but likewise dreading some of these quests to the point of even considering whether to not put myself through it!

What if we had 1 destiny thread for xboners and 1 for psners? Although I think we've managed it quite well in year 1 side by side..
 
This thread either needs merging into the original Destiny Reveal Thread or the original one needs to be closed.

The PVP / Raid thread needs to be left open as that is the one for organising fireteams etc.
