Merge the threads and get a mod to edit the first post of the original one to add your information. Either that or add a link to the relevant page containing your year 2 info to the first post of the original thread.

The solution is simple. I'd make a much better mod than Maccy.

The original thread also has loads of info which shouldn't be ignored so probably best merging this one, replacing a post in the first page with the links and other stuff copied from that one

My ps4 digital pre-order has a countdown saying it unlocks in 9 hours and 30 minutes. So that would mean 5am it unlocks in the UK??

That means the game will recognise you've purchased TTK - at the moment it doesn't on PS4. It still keeps telling me I need to buy TTK. Then 5 hours later at 10am, the actual content will be available to play.

ah right it's just the taken king page on the store has a timer. i thought that was until i could start to download it. must just download a patch which unlocks it then as stated above.

didn't want to come home to a HUGE download waiting to be started.

i totally forgot about the patch the other day. only 18GB isn't as big as vanilla destiny at all then yet they want £40 for it.

In Bungie world $40 = £40. I paid $40.

no it's just that everyone has been banging on about how this DLC is supposed to be as big as vanilla destiny and that it's the biggest yet.

whereas it's 1 new destination, a new raid and few crucible modes which should have shipped with the game.

i'm surprised you don't think £40 is too much for this dlc when the original game cost that much and this isn't offering even half as much as that.

would you buy a house for £400K then ask a builder to add a small extension on the side for another £400K?

How ? mine got accepted earlier and didnt give me access to the two DLCs until tomorrow.

As for the price, £40 just for TTK is steep, however i managed to get it for around £25 plus the other 2 DLC's which is a fine price IMO. (taking into account selling my copy of Vanilla Destiny)

I'm not really fussed what happens with this thread or the reveal one, but I would very much like it if the Raid/PvP one was rebranded as an LFG thread. It's a pain in the bum when conversations are happening in two separate threads, but having one clearly marked as LFG and the other clearly marked as conversation would hopefully cut down on that.

Same for me. Code accepted when I tried it ~7pm. When I went into the game, both TDB and HOW were activated. Finished TDB missions and working on HOW now.

Year 1 exotics with specific perks are going to be situationally useful still, especially in crucible. Thinks like Bones of Eao, Don't Touch Me, Mida, Obsidian Mind etc. Some of them have y2 though I think.

Year 1 rewards can be picked up apparently. You'll need to discard and recollect them after 11am to trigger quests that need them though. Let's have a lookee...
