I see. So if you had a pulse rifle at say 260 attack and a scout rifle at 280 but you don't like using scout rifles, you could infuse the pulse rifle with the scout rifle? Does it depend on attack level rather than the XP level required to use it?

But why isn't it working for my exotic then? I have one at 280 (from blueprint) and one at 290 (from engram). I tried infusing the 280 one with the 290 one but it still didn't like it.

They have an infuse slot. But I guess this could be part of the next DLC when weapons have an upgraded attack rating? So just as the weapons and armour went through upgrades at every DLC, this will allow you to buff your exotics up in the future? The blueprints are probably at the lowest level available and may stay that way for the rest of the year. So to keep them in contention, you can infuse them with future gear.

e.g. Say you have an obsidian helmet at 280 but at the next DLC you get an innermost light helm at 320. Then you can use the innermost light to infuse the obsidian one which might take it to 300 or something. And tide you over until you get an obsidian helmet at 320. I dunno. All speculation.
 
Here we go, I've got a valid infuse option. Let's see what happens.

Item to be infused - Apple of Discord pulse rifle - level 36 - 200 attack - purple.
Item used to infuse - Mos **** III hand cannon - level 37 - 213 attack - blue.

After process completes, Apple of Discord now has 210 attack. The infuse slot still remains so it's possible to further upgrade it it seems.

LMAO. Don't ask me why the board has starred out the name of the hand cannon. I can't remember what it was now.

None of the crucible events apart from the Daily Crucible item have legendary marks listed as a reward. It looks like you have to do the Vanguard Heroic Strikes playlist if you want to earn them in bulk.
 
I didn't know that but not getting them for the daily either. I have played 2 games of rift and got rewards at the end but got no legendary marks.

Did you click on the icon from the main map screen and not start from the crucible section? I got my 15 marks from rift just now.
 
Heroic strikes are best way. They are pretty serious now though, harder than the old nightfalls, no burns.

I'm sure there will be ways for pvpers to get marks, trials I'm sure will.

There are quite a lot of marks to be had finishing off quest lines, along with the gear rewards.

Gonna give court of oryx and the nightfall a bash tomorrow.
 
Ikora gave me a PVP quest as well? Maybe your vanguard has one to go with Shaxx.

Anyroad, how do you start the Court of Oryx stuff off? I can't even find where the location is. I've got two runes to summon something but where to do it?
