Black spindle time, haven't been able to get this done as its damn near impossible. But will be around after 11 tonight to try it if anyone wants to help out, perhaps a couple of experienced players who have the spindle and can me out tactically??

After almost 3 hrs of trying to get the black spindle, finally managed to do it with 2 other guys off 100 and only took us 2 runs to do it.

Got the ship and the spindle, sucks that after all that freaking effort it drops at 290...damn u bungie :(
 
i think i helped hutchy and razer off here. we did it on our second go after we missed on the first by a few seconds due to not switching supers.

2 titans and your sorted. 2 people running shotguns and swords with the third using a sniper and sword. titans set up so bubble gives blessing, lasts longer, gives orbs from damage, etc. basically you want all the right things ticked in the subclass.

first room 2 people take out the blight on the right whilst the third runs left with a shotgun and sword to take out the blight at the back as well as the big cabal guy. everyone use their supers too for orbs and added dps.

you should have this room cleared in around 30 seconds with all 3 using swords.

go down the stairs and sword anything that pops out.

second room, one guy taking out snipers (with his sniper) whilst the other 2 take out the blight on the right. as soon as it's down one person runs to take out blight on back left whilst the other 2 take out adds, use supers for added dps and orbs swords until they run out then shotgun.

this room should take about a minute.

you should be entering the tunnel with well over 7 mins.

3rd room pop synths, one titan put bubble to left of boss and the other titan put bubble to right of boss, all 3 sword boss to death he doesn't move at all if being sworded. blessing will keep you alive if you keep popping in and out. if all 3 die repeat this step once you have supers.

once boss is down, 2 titans switch to hammer bros immediately. you should have about 4-5 mins for adds. go for the balls first, i think i used a scout, shotgun sword setup. scout on blights. shotgun, sword and supers on adds.

we cleared it on our second attempt. we had 3 titans though so 3 bubbles and 3 hammer bros when the boss was down.

i think more strats are out now with sleeper simulant and hunter helm with 6 times damage on golden gun.

it's damn near impossible if you don't have a strategy, if you have 3 people on the same page though makes a big difference.

black spindle wrecks golgoroth and warpriest, it's the only time i ever use mine tbh. i've seen a few using it in trials though.
 
Finally got not one but two black spindles last night! Tis the only gun I needed

Huge thanks to Turbo - we got a randomer off LFG and still had 30 seconds to spare at the end - blasted it first time.

Second time Davie raped the baddies as stormcaller and we blasted through first time again! - we were done in half an hour lol!

REALLY helped that two of us had exotic swords - main dude went down easy enough.

Ship drop was very welcome too - oooo shiny led's :)

Lol yep shiny new ship with leds:p. Pretty happy with what I got, I know plenty of people want the new ship but don't want to run through the mission again.

Pretty much the same as ours, 2nd run we had about 20 secs left and managed to get it done. Was a bit close though but 3 of us with exotic swords managed to kill the boss off then off we went to destroy the ads.

Ended up using my silent piercer sniper which was at 306 into my spindle. Hardly ever used it so thought might as well use it as infusion fuel, tend to use my 1k stare at 308 more often.
 
Hey, folks. Question about the refer a friend program.

I downloaded the demo on PS3 and really enjoyed the game. I'm going to grab a PS4 soon - does my playing of the demo preclude me from using my mate's referral code or does the seven day limit kick in only once I have purchased the game?

About the refer a friend program, couldn't you just make a new psn account and refer it like you would a friend?

I did actually refer a friend and by the time they fetched it in it was too late. You'd think they would have mentioned it before taken king.
 
Just had a look around and it seems that you need TTK so just a vanilla disc and an alt psn account won't work. Dammit.

The items will proably be on sale for a million pounds after chrimbo lol.

Still not done the raid yet:o

I have a lvl 299 titan so I must get it done at some point.
 
Just deleted my antiquated Hunter to start a brand new Titan. I've always ran Hunter, Warlock and Titan. I'm looking forward to having a secondary Titan, hopefully double my chances for a hard-mode helmet. I've got another full set of armour which should get me to 315, once I move around some weapons.

Hoping to get to level 40 one night this week and grab another set of 320 drops from Mr. Warpriest. However it feels draining running the TTK story mode for the 4th time :(

As for Black Spindle, yeah Sonny kindly helped Razer and I. That was one of the most heart attack inducing activities I've ever had to do in Destiny. Well worth it though, it's ideal for Warpriest and Golgoroth. Mine is currently at 315, hoping to get a 320 special to infuse into it.

That 320 artifact from Warpriest got me up to 316 on Tuesday, it may be placebo but it seemed to make a huge difference on the remainder of the raid.

Yeah 315+ light makes a huge difference in the raid. Ogres, knights and shade get absolutely melted once you get up to that level...and you're much tougher. Was amazed how easy our Oryx run was last night, despite the usual couple of hiccups.

Meh, won't be bothering. In fact, I'm glad I'm not forced in to doing it in order to win a 320 item.

Waiting patiently to see what the Golgoroth challenge will be, which I'm dreading as have never been a gaze holder :rolleyes:
 
NF :

Epic - Heavily shielded and highly aggressive enemies appear in great numbers.
Specialist - Special Weapon damage is favored.
Chaff - Player radar is disabled.
Fresh Troops - Some enemy squads have been fortified with additional reinforcements.
Airborne - Players deal more damage while in the air.

Watching stream for golgoroth to see what the deal is :)
