True, but Eyalsuna is a hard gun to obtain!

I did get a nice Devil you Know though with range finder/rifled barrel/grenadier

I have Eyalsuna with range finder and LiTC it works well if the game isn't too lag, once it lags though your bullet do nothing and I just switch it out for the vendor hawksaw.

I wouldn't say Hand Cannons are the best any more, I get killed mainly by Pulse Rifles and Auto Rifles lately. I tend to do best with Scout Rifles and Auto Rifles myself.

Regarding the IB drops, I felt they were fine this week. I hit rank 5 on all characters by Friday and had quite a lot of 335 drops of all types. I did get a load of Strange Coins as well though, but they're always useful.

I think due too map design mostly the abundance off cover if your facing players that take advantage of that cover using an AR becomes painful. I seldom die too a AR and most of the time its my own fault, I was stupidly wondering in open space and far from any cover or escape route. Also 1 vs 1 if the other person is using a HC/PR they can better use cover as they have break in between shots that natural lends itself too that sort of game play, so if I'm 1 vs 1 against a DoP and I have either a HC or a PR I'm confident I will win most engagements.

However ARs do have nasty flinch so you really need too use cover or you will lose. If your catching people out of cover often (hard with always on radar I find) ARs are deadly. Also ARs like DoP have the lowest skill ceiling in the game, its basically a laser beam which could add too why it has high usage. Same can be said about Mida, amazing reload, one of the highest AA values in the game, very high stability made is a solid choice for most players, its a very forgiven weapon. Ultimately lead too these weapons being nerf'd.

When did MIDA get nerfed? It is still a 4 headshot kill with insane base stats and solid pvp perks. I do use it a lot just for the movement speed if nothing else. When your aim is on point though you are correct, nothing can beat a HC.

The 1 headshot 2 body shot needed for the Devil you Know/Eyalsuna archetype is easy to do and very deadly.

They removed High Caliber rounds on Mida is its much harder too flinch a sniper enough with a Mida, outside off that its still the same. Mida is still by far the best scout I don't think anything compete, the extra speed, the amazing base stats, the high aim assist. Its still a beast but it used too be my go to weapon on slightly larger maps if I wasn't running a shotgun, now I find more success trying too flinch someone with a PR.

When I say difficult I mean relative too other weapon types. In general Destiny with primaries is very forgiving, aim assist is sticky, magnetism is high and so on. However HC have a rather aggressive cone, such that after your first shoot you need too pause a bit more then your actually rate off fire, this is what messes me up and many others when your not warmed up. On top of that even a tiny bit of lag seems too competely render the weapon type useless. However when your in the zone and its a decent match its completely owns.

Y1 player here, and this IB was the very first time I've bothered to play to rank 5. In terms of drops, I received a bunch of Iron Companion helms ranging from 311-318, a couple of 320 ghosts, and a 320 titan mark. My rank 5 package contained a 319 Deidris's Retort shotgun and 322 Zombie Apocalypse MG.
I wanted so badly the Scout rifle but it never dropped once and neither did Bretomart's Stand, which I eventually just bought for Marks.

Bit bored of Destiny so I started a third character (Warlock, started with Titan and used the level up Spark with my Hunter), got him from 0 to 40 with 334 light in 3 days, had a blast playing through the entire game again!

I only had 2 machine guns and 3 scout rifles and I played the deat out of it. I have about 11 helmets though!

Bungie Day today! Let's see if anything interesting is announced!

OMG Heroic strikes are so damn fun this week!

Arc Burn and small arms - Zhalo Super Cell *Quake announcer* Quad Damage */Quake announcer*

Everything just melts! :D

They're great, I've been enjoying them with my stormcaller. So much lightening! There are still people who don't use an arc subclass though, but the Zhalo and arc supers are so good that it doesn't really matter, you just end up with double their number of kills.

CoE is super straight forward this week too. Good modifiers all round.

Yup going to be hitting up 3 NF's and 3 CoE (to 30k) with the Mrs.

Feel free to jump in if you see us online :)

I will keep an eye out as I haven't done the NF's yet this week.

Was a pretty good night for me, through doing CoE with Moe, LFGing HM up to Oryx and some CoO I got my warlock from 317 up t 322. Hopefully an Oryx kill and a few more good drops will see me high 320's. Still plenty of old armour to pass over to my alts to boost their light.

Nice! You should go from ~322 to 334 pretty quickly.

Going from 334 to 335 though.... that is a pain! I keep getting either 334 drops when I am 334 (decoding exotics / IB etc) or 335 drops in a slot where I already have 335 items.

A 335 chest piece completely eludes me.

I know in the end it makes no difference in game but damn I want that yellow bar to be completely full! :o

I finally hit 335 on my Warlock Tuesday :D Don't really matter but like you I just want that yellow bar full lol

Gonna start using my Hunter has my main now. Only need a set of 335 gloves and he'll be 335. But you watch it will take years lol.

Fingers crossed, with the guaranteed drops from the raid it shouldn't take too many runs to up my light. Even though the bar would annoy me I don't think I have the patience to grind out 335 even on my warlock. All 3 characters 330+ should do so I am not under-levelled to badly come the release of RoI.

At least unlike previous iterations you can run everything twice for a shot at some 335 gloves.
