We are doing the hard run but at low 300's you could get through the KF normal which (I think) is 300 for most of it and ups to 310 at Oryx and guarantees drops at (again I think) 310 or above. Just post up when is a good time and a list and get a group together. If I can make it I am happy to run a normal mode on one of my alts. No mic though would still be a bit of a problem as the raids are about communication especially if you haven't done it before.

Leveling up solo has never been easier IMO. Simply level up your factions and make sure you're wearing all your highest light gear when you pick up the package. You should get something 2-5 light levels above your current level. Rinse and repeat. You can level up your Vanguard, Crucible, Faction, Gunsmith and House of Wolves rank all nice and easy solo.

Edit: Oh, and do the Heroic Strike playlist as well. I think pretty much every strike has strike specific loot that can *potentially* drop. If it does, like the rank up packages it'll drop at or above your current light level.
 
Finally giving the finger Oryx felt so good, even if I wasn't there to chuck a throwing knife into his face at the very end. Chuffed to bits, and a decent haul of harrowed gear too. Just need to get the harrowed cloak and harrowed gauntlets now, and I'll have the full set.

Other than the usual deaths, it all seemed to go relatively smoothly, although it did get a bit sweaty at the end of the final run when both me and Greeboth died. Fortunately he had a self-res on hand.

I'll upload the clip later of my accidental tripmine to my own face :o

Just need to do Warpriest Challenge Mode next week for the Calcified Fragment, and then I'll have all of my Moments of Triumph completed! :D

Shame I didn't get one of the two derp moments I had:

1) Falling with brand onto a Acolyte's Eye and immediately dying...

2) Falling with brand directly into the path of the ship.....

That Oryx slam our last run was a little touch and go as well. Thank **** I had blessing of light on otherwise I would have died! I really enjoy getting teleported directly into his slam radius.... :o
 
Yeah it was good to finally the get the big guy down. I am not sure the drops I got at Oryx made the effort worth it but the raid as a whole I went up 7 light levels so that isn't bad. A couple more raids and I should be 33X hopefully so I can easy rank up my alts to 33X too.
 
As above I want to run the raid again anyway to get in to the 330's so I would be up for doing it again and doing the warpriest challenge. Especially as it is so easy to do :D If Pete can only make Thursday then I am good with Thursday.
 
im not sure what time i'll be back in the evening but i'll try my best. Works sending me to Bristol for some silly team building.
Hopefully it will be team building via destiny raid! I'll be sure to use the master race!

I will have to share a clip, picture this. Win a trials round, we all run to the same ammo crate, 1 tripmine kills all 3 of us.

Thursday works for me, I will try not spend so much time catching pokemons.
