Nightfall is ridiculously easy this week. Take a Void sword with you and demolish the Flayers in seconds.

Drops from Challenge of Elders aren't too bad at all either. Soul Stealer's Claw is epic if you can get one.

There's a god roll on the Cocytus SR4 this week from the Gunsmith btw (second roll)

Nf is dust palace aka psion flayers. Void burn is the burn on it this week, I ran it 3 times last night and it didn't take us more than an hr to do 3 runs.

Airborne perk is a pain in the bum as you take more damage if you are jumping and getting hit.
 
I have roughly 1200 spirit bloom.. Can I trade these fit anything in game?

I'm sure you used to be able to trade for faction rep.

Also.. I'm on the hunt for an auto rifle.. Which should I buy?

Trade your Spirit Bloom in with the faction vendor when they're taking it :)

As for auto rifle, look out for the Arminius from the Gunsmith for a PVP weapon. The New Monarchy auto isn't too bad for PVE, but the Exotics are more fun :)

The lore is starting to tie together.. Granted nothing about the stranger or the whole traveller thing but.. Slowly.. It's starting to tie in!

I hopped on for a single game of Control last night. 26 kills, 7 caps and something like 1.8 kd. The next highest on the team was 16 kills and 4 caps. And we lost. I often wonder if I get teamed up with blind people.

Problem is you get almost none of the story in the game, you have to go to a website and read these cards and try piece it all together. Just not feasible to expect anyone outside of a tiny % to ever do that.
 
So COE was interesting last night. Ran it twice, one run on my Titan and the other on my hunter. With my Titan we did 3 runs in total and everytime I dropped a TOC which was 9 in total...not a single exotic drop. But on my hunter, managed to nail both 30/90k runs in 2 rounds and managed to snag 2 exotics.

Strange that out of 9 ToC's I got nothing but out of 6 on my hunter, I got 2.

Destiny hates and likes me in equal measures by the looks of it:p
