What level was classed as premium beta? I pledged 50 quid and got second round private beta, I assume I've still got a bit of a wait?
 
Can you pay for an upgrade to Premium Beta?

aye, the levels are as follows;

Elite: Dangerous - Alpha - £200.00
Elite: Dangerous - Premium Beta - £100.00
Elite: Dangerous - Standard Beta - £50.00
Elite: Dangerous - £35.00
Elite: Dangerous - Expansion Pass - £35.00
 
I dont suppose theres any indication how long premium beta is going to last? Ah well i got SC DFM coming out soon and the DK2 not arriving till July so meh. I can wait.

There doesn't seem to be a discount based on the Elite: Dangerous version I already own :(

Im thinking about this too because of the expansion packs - just added the premium beta to my basket from my account and it took off the £50 from the version i already had. So make sure youre logged into your account first. Im not actually going to do this just yet as I want to see how the SC DFM pans out first, but may well do it in the near future.
 
Indeed, they would make so much more money if you could melt your current pledge for credit. The Premium beta is £100 but includes all the DLC, the standard beta doesn't include DLC.

If I wanted the DLC I would buy the premium beta for the extra £50 but as I cant cash in the current pledge I either have to spend £100 on beta and have the game twice or £35 on the DLC which doesn't get me beta. As such i'll be doing neither.

yup possible marketing flaw! Its a bit unfortunate, if theyd started this last week I might have done it but right now i want to find out if the SC DFM is coming out real soon or if id at least have a week to play around with this which would make the extra £50 worth it.

WHY DO ALL THE GOOD SPACE SIM THINGS HAPPEN AT THE SAME TIME. First world problems for sure.
