The *Official* Eve Online Thread

Celestis is a lovely ship :)

Up against a scorp, dominix and a tempest and they all considered me to be the biggest threat lol!! I was primary before any of the other cruisers including blackbirds.

I just annoy myself now by flying ships that will always be primary :( Logistics, EW, Cyno etc. grrr
 
A few of us jumped into a gate gank a while back, me in a Zealot fit for gank, a pilgrim with *** pwnage and drones, 2 blasteraxs.. up against 1 blasterthron, a celestis, a claw and 3 blasteraxes.

The celestis sensor damped me to a target range of around 900m .. waffles.

One of the blasteraxs flew straight for me so I got to lock him.. slapped him to 10% struc before I popped 10secs later.. gutted :|
 
Does anybody here fly any Covert Ops long range missile ships as it is something that I have been training towards but would like some feedback on before I spend more time training it.

Take it from me, they're not worth it, the only time they were remotly useful was before the T2 Cruiser Missile balance.
 
Do you know how to post all your skill tree, of if you rather wouldnt just say what kind of pilot your would prefer to be. Gal' ships are the current flavour of the month with blaster boosts, ECM and Drones.

Go to www.eve-online.com, then on the right hand menu is a button called My Character - You may have to login, once in there choose your character if you have more then one on that account. In the next part click on the "export to XML" link, you could upload this and post the link or paste the details into a code window here.
 
Yeah, is it just me, or is eve-online.com down? I can't get on it. Which is a shame, as I've got a timecard to activate.

Anyone here had some experience with AWE? I'm thinking of applying (through RESA), so any comments welcomed.

I would have applied to STK, but the min SP just went up due to 3-4mill SP players not being able to hack it solo. Should that warn me off low-sec for a while as I only have 3.x mill SP. I read that RESA pass you into AWE at about my level of SP.
