mining skills? lol mostly industry skills u will need. I cant remember how to start a good mining character. Just remember that mining for a lot of people is serisoly boring. My character originally started as a miner/science guy.

However now hes a hardened PvP guy who loove his t2 ships :) (mostly gallante ones can fly all but t2 BCs)

Have you tried pvp university ?

the course is 5 million isk but you will go out to 0.0 with a bunch of other frigs and kill 2 year vets!

i took the course and it was so good i cancelled the cancellation of my sub, and now ive been playing for 4 months :-)

you will learn a lot and have fun !

use the search function on the official eve forum for pvp university and just follow instructions

I like the sound of that pvp university, really great idea :cool: how long does the course last, is it just an evening?
 
hey Andrew, you out of your noob corp yet?
try and get out as fast as you can

and yeah PVP uni runs 1 evening corses, also they work up from the base jobbie.
 
done the PvP uni course with agony unleashed. 5 mil isk for about 7 hours of fun time freddy was well worth it.

The instructors were and are very dedicated, in a geeky fashion, to what they do. Very worth while.

a lot of corps these days will give you extra cash if you need it, and plus i reckon you would have to be beyond n00b and atleast no the basics and how the game works before you could do it so 5mil prob isn't that much
 
true but n00b wont have the skills to genarate cash fast like older players. so when they may die in eve university it could be hard to get back on track

High memory and intelligence...although if you just want to mine you might as well watch paint dry and save the 8 quid a month.

Seriously down the line you will regret starting this game as a miner

yer we have a few miners in our corp the only reason why they mine is cos they are high on weed. However the people in question have maxed out mining skills, a hulk and the minining implants to go with it.

They can outmine the corp on a corp op :eek: but he does rake in stupid amounts of isk. So in the long, very long run its a good choice.

But you will get bored of it before you get uber skills n stuff.

i have another char on the go atm but never really got into mining so made a char just baised on that but not a clue what to do right with him ^^

make him a trade character. Get him the skill for a hauler, then go out buy cheap sell high :)
 
Anyone know what's going on with BoB tonight? I've just been NPC ratting in 6E-578.. and lo and behold a fleet of 100-150 BoB members came hurtling through... do I smell war?

Bob are always at war. They have the whole want to take over 0.0 thing going on.

Take over 0.0 like a donut starting in one place and going all around till u get back to the start.
