Very impressed with Matt Brown - total destruction from the 1st bell.

Agreed re Mir - his best years are long gone. Should call it a day in my eyes.

Henderson "can" be a very exciting fighter but when you have the belt, it's about defending the title, not winning it (if that makes sense) - therefore defending fighters tend to go "safer" than they would if they were trying to win the belt.

Thought that Benson lost 1,2 and 5th rounds so can't see how he got given 3 rounds by the judges.

Really hope Sonnen get's the upset this weekend. I don't know what it is about Jones but I just can't stand him. I think he gives of a level of arrogence I just can't stick.

I don't mind cocky fighters but it's just the way he carries himself as if every other fighter is below him.

Sonnens arrogance is very tongue in cheek where as Jones has genuine arrogance about him, that being said Jones has every right to be confident / arrogant - no one has even competed with him yet in the octagon.

I'm going to be putting some money on Belcher too, I don't think Bisping can cope with a powerful and technical striker as it's always been his achilles heel.

I think Jones will win but Sonnen will give him a run for his money for sure. I definitely respect Chael more after watching him as a coach on TUF

We're getting in touch to let you know your ESPN subscription will be coming to an end on 31 July 2013, so it will no longer appear on your bill.
I take it Sky viewers will loose out to view live UFC events :(

ESPN being dropped by SKY as BT have taken over ESPN

I was under the impression that UFC were looking to move away from ESPN? I was planning on cancelling anyway since they seem to often mess up the live events.

Some of those fights at Fox 7 were great, though I thought the Cormier vs Mir fight was really dull; Cormier fought sensibly but it was hardly exciting. The Mein vs Brown and Thompson vs Diaz fights were excellent, definitely the two best of the night imo.

Hopefully this weekend's event is as good, though I really can't see Sonnen causing Jones many problems. I'm going for an early KO/TKO by Jones, don't get me wrong I like Sonnen a lot more than I did having watched the latest Ultimate Fighter, but I just don't think he's got enough to beat Jones.

Yet another late night!!

It's FIGHT DAY!! #UFC159 prelims start at 11:35pm tonight on Facebook, and continue on @ESPNUK from 1am, main card action starts at 3am!

What a bizarre night of fights!

Legends say that when UFC 151 was cancelled with its dieing breath it cursed the next event that Jon Jones would participate in; tonight's unusually high number of injuries/botches are proof that the curse is alive and well!

Omg his toe lol "when my adrenaline wears off I'm going to be in some pain.

With regards to the fight was embarrassing should never have happened and was a joke from the time it was announced. Never a competition and a waste of Jones' time.
