Not the best night of fights, but that was an awesome K.O!

Yeah, just a shame that Belfort didn't make a better fist (or should that be "foot" :p) of it the last time he challenged Silva for the belt!

With the Weidman fight confirmed and then any number of "super-fights" coming up for Silva, I wouldn't be surprised to see Belfort having to take a couple more "warmup" fights before Dana puts them in the cage together again!

I thought Jacare looked like he could be pretty decent so maybe him against Belfort might be a good matchup for them both??

Nelson vs Miocic has been added to UFC161. Good fight that. Miocic should be fed the double whopper with Cheese and move Nelson closer to the title. Would have prefered Big Country vs Soa.

Also been rumoured that Barnett has signed for the UFC. Will be massive to have him back considering the HW division was looking a little "light".

Just saw this dvd in Tesco. Featuring GARY Maynard!

pre fight media event
EDIT: having watched it theres not much chat about UFC 160 but well worth a watch as Dana answers lots of random questions

Here's the card tonight. My picks in bold.
Cain Velasquez (c) vs. Antonio Silva
Junior Dos Santos vs. Mark Hunt
Glover Teixeira vs. James Te Huna
Gray Maynard vs. TJ Grant
Donald Cerrone vs. K.J. Noons
Mike Pyle vs. Rick Story
Dennis Bermudez vs. Max Holloway
Colton Smith vs. Robert Whittaker
Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Abel Trujillo
Stephen Thompson vs. Nah-Shon Burrell
Brian Bowles vs. George Roop
Jeremy Stephens vs. Estevan Payan

Some are most definitely heart over head.

Bowles is coming back from a big lay-off but when he isn't injured he is top notch. Thompson needs to start unleashing some crazy kicks. Khabib was a bit silly yesterday but a better fighter all in all.

Pyle so his Cinderella story can continue. Gray is potentially one of the few at 155 who can challenge Bendo. Te Huna and Glover both were disappointing in their last fights, lots of hype surrounding Glover but I think Te Huna is durable enough and is a damn sight bigger.

WAR HUNTO!

...and I just don't like Cain.

The top 3 definitely are.

Cain > Bigfoot
JDS > Hunt
Texieria > Te Huna

Probably why I've put some money on those fights going that way. Means I'm happy regardless of result. Paddy Power are offering 5/1 for new customers that Cain will finish it inside one round.

Mir vs Barnett seem like a good one down the road?

Jesus. I've seen the ring cleaner after 12 fights than right now. Stephens is bright orange from blood for heavens sake.

In a trivia note Estevan Payan accidentally cut down to bantamweight during that fight
