i thought rashad earned new respect by outdoing hendo, and its about time that roy nelson and his lack of stamina was exposed. A belly like that shouldn't be getting a title shot and now hes no chance. He is a mockery of cardio and stamina. Good chin though.

His physical appearance takes the mickey out of the sport.

His physical appearance takes the mickey out of the sport.

He doesn't fit the mold of a modern mma fighter but there aren't any restrictions to body fat, just weight classes. Roy can fight, he should do more than just look for the knock out punch.

Don't see why his appearance would bring shame to the sport? There are fatties in all types of sports. Fedor isn't exactly ripped and no one would question his status in mma.

Its not bodybuilding. lol.

His cardio has never really been that terrible but taking that amount of punishment will take a lot out of you. Apparently he now holds the record for absorbing the most 'significant' strikes without being KO'd. That is ridiculous but also pretty remarkable. Have to agree with Robert, he's certainly no mockery to the sport in my opinion.

With all that punishment maybe a move to wrestling with his (nelson) current 'fame' and make some retirement money? Only so many hits before risking some serious permanent damage.

A number of fighters who have done both (notably Dan Severn) have said that pro-wrestling takes a bigger physical toll on the body than MMA; I don't think going to pro-wrestling to avoid taking damage is a good move.

Any good odds on Weidman this weekend?

Mostly only ever fought cans in Pride. He only fought 3 top tier guys since 2004 and lost to each(Werdun, Silva, Hendo) Dan Henderson destroyed Fedor and Hendo was giving up 30 lbs and was the older fighter.....

trollolololo :D

Don't see that as trolling personally....

Let's take a look at the last 10 or so fights:

Mark Coleman - 205'er, and not particularly good.

Mark Hunt - Heavy hitter, but what would his record at the time have been, 5 and 5?

Matt Lindland - 185'er

Choi Hong-Man - Circuis freak, was 1-0 at the time they fought if I remember rightly?

Tim Sylvia - Lol

Andrei Arlovski - Credible opponent, but massive glass chin

Brett Rogers - Credible opponent

Then he lost to Werdum, Bigfoot and Henderson ...

Jeff Monson - lol

Satoshi Ishi - Who?

Pedro Rizzo - lol

People cream over Fedor, but in my eyes he has one of the most padded records in all of MMA. Scratch the surface, and it's really not overly impressive.

£4.62 on Silva. That's the sum total of my UFC winnings so far. Started with £10 and have just been betting on a few here and there.

Two pretty decent knockouts to start the night.
