So is pace really not as big a deal as in 12? I've made a team on the web app but they're all pretty slow players. Can't play until next weekend because I refuse to pay for the season pass.

Pace is still needed, also I've found the the through ball/over the top ball seems to be more effective than last year.

though passes seem to make there way thorough more than last year.

Although this might because people have crap teams ATM.

Whats with freekicks now? i used to always press RB to dip, not it calls another player..

I've been doing the same Andy , push fwd on right stick and then RB when its in the air.

EDIT Jesus just looked at price of BPL keepers!

Is the game worth getting if you are not interested in Ultimate Team?

I haven't really looked into it but I haven't played a FIFA game for years and fully expect myself to be terrible at it.

Of course, plenty of games modes will keep you entertained.

Its all changed now. You can do all sorts of set ups with free kicks. Best going into the training mode.

The thing I really like right now is its easier to pass to a player with a throw in or from a free kick... in 12, it was too easy to just run in and steal the ball... so annoying in 12.

Pace isn't worrying me. I just played a guy that had Pato, Miccoli and Di natale in his attack against my 80/69 pace cb's. Game ended 1-1 but his pacy attackers didn't bother me much with their pace.

Whats with the matching system for online seasons ? I've only got a bronze team and I got matched with a guy with a load of spainish gold players

Didnt do to bad I guess only lost 4-0

but still. Would have thought I would have been put up against more bronze squads not gold or silver full teams

Know doubt there aren't as many teams as your nomrally used to so can't match as well as normal.

Also stupid red cards/pens are given for perfectly good tackles so be careful. thought they would have fixed that.

Good game though enjoying it

yea true I was thinking about that. I guess most people playing at the moment are "avid" fans or they would not have bought the season pass. Still I'm having fun. Granted I'm not winning much

but I still have a relatively good game and get a goal or two in.

I think h2h seaons is also a lot less picky, just picks people around your level, they did say UT Seasons was basically "Bring what ya got".

if you have afull bronze team, play the Bronze tourney

kept saying that to my gf's bro who keeps using his bronze team in seasons and getting decimated by gold teams, he bangs on about wanting promotion, but he's not gonna get it like that!

FutWiz is one ran by Dan7 and a few others

Futhead has also relaunched a revamped site today with full UT13 database, squad builder there has got even more user friendly to prevent where you used to choose a player, mouseover another position and he would appear there!

Just logged into the Ultimate Team web app and got Robinho in my free gold pack. Looks like he's sitting around 10k just now.

Is it worth selling now or are prices likely to go up come Friday?

I'd say at a guess my I add that prices will go up on Friday when packs can be bought and hence more money about.

Also could work that people want to quickly sell players to clear the transfer pile and sell cheaply..

Certainly contracts will be dirt cheap

H2H season - Seaons mode online using normal rl teams
UT Seaons - seaons mode within UT

10 games, 5 divisions, x amount of points to either stay in that division, get promotoed or get relegated.
