For me he will always be behind Ronaldo/Giggs/Nani etc but is pretty good for cover I think.

Check out Rafinha from Schalke mate. He's an attacking full back but can easily fill in on the right wing too

edit: You could also checkout Belluschi who has been a goal machine for me in the advanced AMC position (24~ goals in 30 odd apps). He can play on the wing too!

Do any of you guys know of a skin for FM2008 that actually reduces the height of the FM window? My laptop screen is only 800 pixels high

Er doubt any FM skins would change the size of the window like that.

The minimum required and supported resolution to play FM is 1024x760. By todays standards this should be fine. However if you have an older monitor that only supports 800x600 you can force the game to accept this by passing:

--small_screen

On the command line. Otherwise the game will give you an error.

The command line options didn't work. I am on a Mac so you have to do it with a txt file. Still I followed the instructions and it didn't work. You think you can still do this for FM2008? The instructions are for 2005/06?

Yes the instructions should still work. It is just that FM05 was the first game that SI did on their own without Eidos so they probably put all that stuff up then.

hate it when chairmans lets your players go!

A player i have is 22, been at my club since 2007/08, and the chairman has just accepted an offer of £425k for him, and hes easily my best player .

Over 108 appearances for Sutton Utd, 36 goals, 59 assists, 10 MoM and an average rating of 7.46!

Didn't you offer the player a new contract? That's what I would do if chairman went over my head. Offer the player a new contract to distract him from the offer.
