Ive been tempted to start again as Milan with the 8.0.2 patch, and gut the entire team bar a few players.
Problem is, that with the AI unwilling to shell out any decent money for players over 28, coupled with a paltry £30m possible budget, its extremly hard to do.
Depending on the formation that i'd want to play, thats at least 5 top players i'd have to buy.
Very difficult to do.
I'm sure you could find a tougher challenge than that

Nah just got knocked out the Champions League to spurs in the quarters. Had a nightmare with injuries. Need some attacking midfielders with pace but can't seem to find any worthwhile anywhere. Hopefully I'll be given more money in summer if I qualify for Champs League again. In 4th at the moment, 5 games left. Fingers crossed...

Boy did I miss this game when I was changing between laptops. Glad to be back on it again.
Can someone point me in the right direction of a good data update including kits, badges etc? Not too bothered about the players pictures, but if its included then its a bonus
Also, does people have trouble when using a widescreen res and the game?
Im running 1280x800 atm. Now on the game all the text is'nt as clear as the text on my desktop, FF etc. Its like the game has been strecthed.
Any idea how I can get round this. It looks bloody horrible

Not all of them. You'd need a graphics pack for that. I've not heard of any data updates containing graphics.Downloading the patch again

Think you need some code in your Properties of FM2008.
[space]-small_screen -windowed
Put the above in the target of your FM08, and then select windowed in the Preferences.
