just won the league again with PSG, nicked it on the last day of the season, started the last game 1 point behind marseille, but they could only get a draw. lost my 3rd straight french cup final!!! that cup is a fix!! :D - and Van Der Vart is a conman! "van der vart was not looking himself in training and wants a new contract comes up every six months" he just loves the signing on fee's!

On a serious note, formatted the wrong HDD when building my new machine last weekend so my Quadruple winning Swansea squad has been lost :(

Premiership, Champions League, FA Cup, League Cup, FAW Cup all won in the same season.

Lost all the images, players, kits, logos too :-/


But... I've set that all back up now and I've restarted with Newport County in the Blue Square South.

I'm liking the challenge personally, games are tough, players are clumsy, passing is sometimes quite awful too, but it's great! :D

Played a game last night that resulted in 4 red cards, two double yellows and two straight reds (both was the last defender taking out a player and denying a goal scoring opportunity.)

I finished the game with no centre halfs (both sent off) and instead had my two strikers back there to help out and finished playing 4-3-1. They went the opposite and had 3-2-3 and it was a very interesting last 25 minutes to the game!

I've signed some semi decent youngsters but I'm looking for short term fixes and rather than long term. Signing older players (33+) that are talented but not very quick, then injecting some pace with the youngsters when the older players get tired.

It's working well so far :)

Can't for the life of me get any loanees though, and Man United (my parent club) wont send me anyone :(
 
^ I signed many Under 18's from premiership clubs, and they all were brilliant for me.

I kept signing Ismael Ehui, Robinson (Palace), Moncur and a few others, but sometimes the whole season wont work.

You could set it to like "World Class", "Semi-Pro" for all the attributes on that page and would set them all to 10, 15, 20 or what ever.

Think I read somewhere that SI will be adding something like this into FM09. :)
