Yeh its not the quickest and its a handfull in corners but i love the sound of it , i put a few mods on it and then it was a bit easier to win the event .

Yeah and after using it going back to my RWD clio was easy. Last time I used it I couldnt keep it in a straight line. Now I'm a god with it ;)

Beating DB9's in a normally aspirated race with a clio was awesome :)

Edit. Mr Latte as a vet of this game do you have any decent websites for setup help etc?
 
We so far only 1 track has loaded :mad: I have attempted 7 tracks this morning. Most of the time it is stuck on the loading screen for ages followed by a disk unreadable message.

Anyone any ideas what I should do i.e phone Microsoft???
 
Made a mistake in the Audi comp. Needed to buy a car for the challenge but it doesnt tell you what you face. I bought a TT only to be faced with loads of beefed up S4's. I was D class they were mainly B and A.

Cost me about 35k in upgrades :D

Trouble is now the ony thing not fitted to my TT is a turbo. Yet I'm having to nurse the TT engine. Its taking heavy damage all on it's own :confused:

Anyone else this?

If this dont get game of the year :rolleyes:

Yep your dvd drive is on its way out. I wouldnt risk scratching any other discs.

Get a 360 replacement. :(

press X (or Y, not sure and am at work!) whilst on the race select screen and you will see what cars you will be against

:( I have only had it a couple of months.

Am I best to go to Microsoft or the Jungle people I bought it from?

I had similar probs, I sold the 2 cars I had worth any money to buy a GTO for the heavyweight challenge (I know I could do other races, but I like to keep a neat progression :p).
I had to load it up with body kit gear to get it to 3850 lbs, then spent the rest on getting as much power out of the engine with my remaining cash.
The engine damaged easily, so I bought the ralli sport block and now it doesn't break so easily and has some more power :)
In fact buying and tuning the Mitsi GTO was a good desicion, because I mullered 3 race series on the amateur class with it as it was way more powerful than the competition :o

Yes dannyjo22, that MR2 is a very nicely balanced piece of kit :)

As the car goes up class does more upgrades become available or do they just become cheaper?

Loved the Nissan Oval. Now that would be cool for some OCUK races. When the special car pulled off the line I thought I had no hope. But slowly reeled him in :)

Of course it's better with TC off :) There isn't that challenge of putting the power down smoothly with TC on and you can't use the throttle to steer the cars or make them drift. I also think the ideal line/braking point thingy should definitely be turned off because the game is far to easy with it on. Only aids I use are ABS and auto gears.

My only complaint with the difficulty so far is AI on medium are much too easy to beat but on hard they're just a touch too challenging (for me anyway - playing on pad btw).

The only thing i have on is ABS, im gonna turn it off though i think. I may also bump the AI to hard.

my xbox drive is allso scraching my forza 2 disk i just keep cleaning it so it works, when it breaks microsoft will replace it :D

cant go 1 day without playing yet :D

and my xbox is 3 days old :s
 
right, what is with the time trial in the Evo is Tsukuba??

It is bloody shocking! the car handles like a bin, and the target time i way low compared to all the other time trials!! gurrr.
 
Right, fed up with the crash-races so gonna host one for an hour or so.

Will leave it open for friends only, assists are on incase any of you want to practice without fear of abuse, and it's class "B".

Hopefully see ya soon.
 
Been checking out the forzamotorsport.net/mystats page and im just wondering what exactly the ¨Career Rollup Rank¨ is all about?
