yes just tried it now ,works for playing music in general , you can tell straight away
but for ringtone its's harder to tell
will have to change ring tone to get accurate result.

Here's a complaint then:

I want Google Wallet so I can be a smartass when I pay for my McD's and sausage rolls in Greggs dammitt!!!! :)
 
AFAIK you can get the wallet app on the phone by downloading the apk and set up a google prepaid card that'll work with it if you use a proxy. You'll then have to use another virtual card with a US address that you can load with your British credit/debit card to load your google card with more funds.

Far too much faffing about for my liking.

I'm not really that fussed about it because there aren't many places that you can use it, I was just trying to think of soemthing to moan about to get the thread going again. :D
 
Saw this in the shop today and rep got one out for me to play with. I was a little disappointed in the screen its still effectively 4.3 for anything but videos as far as I could tell because of the onscreen buttons, really would have liked 4.65 to be available like say the Titan.
I was surprised that the extra pixels didn't really make it seem much sharper than my desire hd at its lower resolution, I guess on these small screens the extra ppi doesn't make massive differences in perceivable sharpness. Sure it was sharper zoomed out but reading web pages fully zoomed out isn't something enjoyable at such a small font size anyway.
It was pretty fast though which was nice as my HD can lag and force close making the exerience not much fun.
I also had a play with the galaxy note, and that did impress me, that huge screen really is close to a tablet experience and still is portable, pity it's a bit overpriced on contracts compared to the nexus.

This issue has returned :(.

Charges when plugged into the wall and turned off, charges when plugged into the PC (but not laptop... USB driver related issue though), however it will no longer charge when turned on and plugged into the wall.

I've tried battery pull a number of times but it will no longer charge :(. I really think that this is ICS related.

Going to raise a ticket with Samsung, fingers crossed they can resolve it.
