Anybody know if there's a combination of button presses i can do to shut down the devices?

My touchpad has frozen and obviously i cannot pull the battery.

Open it in web browser over HTTPS and accept/install the certificate?

I could not use my own hosted IMAP over SSL before I accepted the cert via the web browser on HTTPS.

No cert asked for, it just logged me in via web browser

Exchange still won;t work says bad username or password

Not looked at the Exchange setup.

Does it ask for domain separately? If not does domain\username work in the Username field?

Domain seperate but all the guides on the internet says leave domain blank

Lots of apps capable of doing this.

You could do it with mkvmerge and set a global file splitting option and run it through there after encoding it in handbrake.

Can anyone recommend any games (touchpad ones, not webOS 2.0 or Pre games)?

I only have Angry Birds HD so far, and I am starting to get bored of that (having played it to death on other devices).


Also, has anyone else used the built in music player? I notice that it lags when using the coverflow (album art) view and scrolling through covers. Is there a good alternative that shows album art. Something visually similar to IOS music players, or the Samsung app on their phones or PlayerPro (for Android).

I just want hotmail adding as an email account (pop3) or exchange (apprantlay since last year you could set up hotmail as an exchange/IMAP)

Can;t get either to work, both say username/password invalid

Don't you have to pay a fee to use hotmail outside of web browsing or did they get rid of that?

For Hotmail I literally clicked on Email, went to accounts/preferences, added a standard email account and entered my email address and password. Everything was configured automatically

Which is why i can't understand why that won#t work for me. Even if I go to manually adding the settings it all fails

That's what happens to my ancient hotmail address, my mates (a recent signup) doesn't work though. Ended up switching over to gmail which did work on the TP.

cant i do it without reencoding it, just want to split.

I just added my hotmail account based on http://www.touchpadtalk.com/2011/07...-on-the-hp-touchpad-using-microsoft-exchange/

Just picked Exchange account, put in e-mail address and password (weirdly it did not ask for domain, even though you would expect it for an Exchange account) and it synced my Hotmail straightaway.
