I got this email from phones4u at 7.30

Your order has now been completed and will be despatched this evening by Royal Mail Special Delivery, who will deliver pre 1:00pm on the next working day.

Does that mean il get it tomorrow?

Fair enough. I had guessed so.

Still, I've found there's not too much clutter compared to what I had imagined, the only orange app I'm actually using now is orange wednesdays. I don't know what the vanilla ROM looks like, but I'll be fine with this one :D

It says working day which would be Monday but they have been known to deliver on a Saturday.

Theoretically when rooted you can back-up your ROM before installing a vanilla ROM (ALWAYS do this anyways when flashing a new ROM :) ) then revert to that if something breaks. Given my experience with Orange I'd bet most "sales assistants" wouldn't know what root was, if you had it, or if it affected the warranty in any way ;)
 
I've transfered the data from the 4gb card onto the new 16gb card and it seems to be ok so far(in the apps I've looked at), will find out as I use the phone more over the coming days.

synced my music and videos using double twist, looks like it's like itunes in that when I unticked the music to sync the videos(after I'd synced the music) it removed all the music that it had synced to my phone. so I had to run the sync again with the video and music ticked, guess you live and learn :)

is there a 'best' podcast player? I've read people mention a few diff ones, same with music player(i.e. is there a widely recognised 'best' player?).

still need to sync my hotmail account with this phone but its not happening. tried all the settings but will not pass the outgoing page, downloaded the K9 app and its the same with that, just will not pass the outgoing settings page. using the settings : -
unsername
password
pop3.live.com
ssl - yes

works fine

smtp.live.com
username
password
ssl - yes
port ( tried default 25, 587)

fails... can anyone help?
