Well, I think stock ICS is great but the One X is better at everything else.

Screen is better, camera is better, battery is roughly the same, storage is better, loudspeaker is better, better looking (:p), internals are better.

Anything more specific? Overall I'd say it's fairly close but the screen is streets ahead for me (I like IPS as you know), as is the design and general camera performance.

Unless you are desperately after stock Android I can't think of a single area that the Nexus is better really.
 
I just have a real sweet spot for the galaxy nexus design. Will have to mull it over.

I could keep the HOX for a little while and sell it on for not much loss.
 
I have tried the ICS style roms on this and as much as I loved ICS when I had a Nexus it looks far too basic for me now, even putting nova launcher on a non rooted One X gives you the stock ICS look but with the added bonus of having the nicer looking dialer etc from htc.
 
I thought you didn't like the limited internal storage kona and that is why you aren't getting the S? Or was that Sarge? Always get you 2 mixed up :p

I agree with Robbo on the GN VS X, screen is personal preference though, both are great. Although is the battery not a fair bit better than the X? I thought the battery life was pretty similar to the GS 2?

It's hard to call but it's close enough that I'd call them both similar.

Yeah that's me. It will be a back up phone so no real need to tick all the boxes.

Main phone will be the S3.

A one x or GN as a backup phone and a GS 3 as the main phone...........:eek:

I consider a desire, galaxy s or nexus s or something similar heck even a orange monte carlo to be a backup phone! :p
 
Yeah well...:D

May just get the HOX and sell it after I get the S3. Mainly because getting it for £300 means i'll lose next to no money on it. Just really want to sample that screen properly :D

Morning all, just a quick question.
A friend has just got a O2 branded One X, I have a sim free One X, her phone is drinking the battery where as I get good battery hours.
For example when you view battery usage my battery shows the screen as taking 34% of the battery and hers is using 51% both phones have auto brightness on. My Android OS is using 34% hers is using 51%, I have a shed load of apps on my phone she has just 4.

I'm wondering if this is due to O2 branding the OS or is it a problem with the phone :confused:
