Not a bad deal, im on a similar one with tesco mobile, 250mins, 5000txt and 1gb, might have a look at that one, which network does virgin use? T-Mob?

Yeah they are T-Mobile/EE. They had a 3gb fair usage policy up until June but are now truly unlimited.

For £15 you can get 250 mins and for £17 you get 1200 mins. Texts/data unlimited on both those contracts too. 30-day contracts.
 
I'm really annoyed, upgraded thru phones4u having told them I wanted the HTC One X, it arrived today and it turns out it's a crappy 16gb version which will severely limit it's use for msic and podcasts!

Gonna go in and complian as at no point did they mention it was a lower spec version than the standard!

Sadly I don't think they do the 32gb version at all, so probably gonna be stuck with it!!! trawling through the reviews on the phones4u website, someone else had this issue and was offered an S3 instead. I didn't really want a Samgsung but if they offer it i might have to go for it as it'd probably be my only option. :(

Knowing my luck tho I'll just be stuck with it and have to get used to a severe lack of space!!!
 
Did a quick Google search and you should also be able to get a 32gb of that version/model number.

Didn't even realise that you could get a 16gb one x in the UK.

If they advertised it as 32gb then you have every right to get a full refund.
 
Well, looking at their website, there is no mention of the storage space at all.

Carphone warehouse do list a 16gb version separately, no such mention on phones4u! I only went for the one x as i figured i could probably manage with the 32gb as i have done so with my desire z, 16gb is never gonna be enough!

Trouble is phone is free on upgrade so not sure what they will do/offer.

I have a feeling they only stock the 16gb version, and I rather feel I've been suckered into a poor version by them!

I'm annoyed because my gut feeling was that they feel like a shady company and it seems they are!
 
Phones4u are good.

Just ring them up and tell them that and if they say no you can't return it and get something like a gs 3 etc. Then tell the guy that you want to speak to the manager and see what happens then, again if no luck, then go higher up the company and tell the manager that you want his name and will be reporting this issue etc . And will continue to do do until you get the issue sorted out.

Even though it wasn't technically false advertisement as they didn't list the storage at all, they should do something as pretty much everywhere I have looked have only listed the X as 32gb apart from a few places like cpw.
