£10pm over 24mths and £40 upfront cost of the phone...works out to £280 all in over the 24mths

Granted its only 100mins, unlimited texts and 500mb of internet but then its a second tmo line i have and its not a line that i use heavily...i have another line with tmo that gives me unlimited calls, texts and 3gb internet.

500MB of data is woeful though so while it's only a 2nd line, the rest of the world would eat that for breakfast so a bit pointless as a primary one.

...here I was thinking that 500mb is way too much for the average user...i was thinking of ringing tmo and telling them to reduce to 50mb as I could never ever get close to 500mb EVAR!!!

I thought the same about 500MB as that's what I was on with Vodafone but since switching to 3 with a 1GB plan and speeds that are double what I would got on Voda...I've already exceeded 1GB and am sitting at 1.32GB for this month. Yeah, I did upgrade to all you can eat when the 1GB had been reached

My official case and screen protectors arrived this morning and I've just fitted the SP.

It's not a great fit because of the curved edges of the screen and I thought about not using one, but I don't want to risk it as I sometimes get a lot of dust on my hands from work. I might wait till someone does a test of the Martin Fields ones as I used them on my Desire.

The slip case is not bad for the money though.

Ok. my girlfriend phone arrived and it doesnt do the loading screen thing mine does. I ran a benchmark and it 2k points less than it should be. have checked the system info and its showing only 1000mhz for the CPU frequency. any ideas how this has happened and how I can fix it?

Patiently awaiting the SGS3 hopefully it's build quality is better than the HOX. Far too many issues with the HOX at the moment. Luckily both these phones do not suffer from screen strobing as of yet, the white is my second replacement unit. First one had horrible strobing. This grey one is going back horrible rippling effect when you press gently on the sides the white one is not as bad. Grey one also has screen glitches on YouTube, browser and camera now and then but seems this may have been fixed in 1.2.8 OTA.

By build quality you actually mean faults with it, right?

There are quite a lot of issues with all new devices of this nature, with such a large scale manufacturing operation there will always be problems.

Yeah issues with the first batches, should be ironed out in future production.

Most common issues seem to be flexing. Occasional users reporting gaps etc.

The screen strobing is a hard one to call might be faulty hardware as in loose connection or part of screen or just not enough voltage!

Not had one single issue with mine, software or hardware related.

My second white is from the HT24 batch and seems better than the first HT23 version.
