Being this nerdy is just wrong, but on another note, at least there's no chance of them procreating, at least until robot wives are cheap and effective
 
I wonder if courier companies are ready to handle the load on Thursday/Friday as everyone increases the frequency of pressing F5! :D
 
Afternoon all :)

Those of you whose order has shipped with Syncreon: does your tracking page show anything other than LOCATION: HINCKLEY GB? When I got the despatched email/text (on the 10th) I automatically assumed it was going to come from China.
I wonder if Apple stocked up the UK in advance?

Quick story for those married folk with wives that don't quite approve:

I got the launch iPad one online despite my wife strongly telling me it was pointless etc etc. I spent the next year having to bloody pry it off her hands everytime I wanted to use it, cos suddenly the iPad became really nice and she liked it :P

This gave me good grounds to get the iPad 2, as she was so addicted to the first one I told her she can have it if she let me queue up and get the launch iPad 2, which she did.

This time round, our 2 year-old son is the one addicted to the iPad 1 (he's not allowed to come near daddy's iPad 2 :P). Admittedly, the iPad has some awesome educational stuff for kids, and he's learnt loads from it. SO, I used that as an excuse: I'll give my wife the iPad 2 if she lets me get the new iPad :D

So if you're married and your wife won't let you get one, just ignore her, get one, brave the inevitable ****-storm and then watch as she gets addicted to it, so by the next-gen she'll WANT you to buy one :P

EDIT: forgot to mention that I've gone from 32 to 64g. My iPad is full (mainly apps, comics, and magazines) without a single video :/

Apple have advised that they cancelled my order as I had placed an order for 2 (as a separate order), so 3 in total (me, g/f and brother).

I was under the impression it was 2 per order... not 2 total.

So how on earth do they justify people that have ordered 10/20 and are reselling them via ebay etc?! Ridiculous.

They use a different name and address :confused:
 
So they place say 5 different orders using different card details, addresses, names...? And Apple don't actually cotton on to the fact? And who has THAT many cards and addresses to use?!

Did anyone on here get more than 2?

That is what I get and got on Friday for my case. One would have thought that they wouldn't be shipping them from China at the last moment.
