We've had about 3 pages of tracking statuses when everyone has always known its due on the 16th at the earliest

HAHA well fortunately I live on the gold coast near Robina up in the hinterland so it’s beautiful there and I just work in Brisbane!
 
Restoring now from my ipad2 backup, look on Tescos website they are selling them at 1 minute past midnight also I was the only person waiting for one.

Brislington, Bristol. Tried and failed. They were surprised to find out it was launching today. All I got was "you know what, you're the fourth person to ask" and "there might be some on the delivery later this afternoon". Doh.
 
I was the only one at my local Tescos waiting to get one at 10.45 all they had were 16gig models & 1 black & 1 white 32, still happy to not start queueing at silly o'clock in the early hours this morning at the istore in Ipswich.

Got lucky I would say :)
