An hour and a half ****ing around with itunes has taken the edge off getting a new toy :/
Yes? I don't get it, but I fancied a new toy and want to try it out? Not hard is it.
For me, when I'm at home I've got a PC, when I'm not at home I've got my Android phone. The only times I've really used my Touchpad is when i'm going back the parents for the weekend or something, and most of the time I sit there thinking 'why didn't I just bring my netbook?'.
Gonna keep an eye on this thread.

I like your philosophy in life... just blindly go around spending large amounts of money against what your better logic is telling you then later try and think up a reason why... nice.
Do you decide where to move house by getting a map of the UK and just throwing a dart at it? Or maybe what car to buy by setting up a tombola in your front room?
I've got some magic beans for sale if you're interested, only £500 a pop?
I'm just setting mine up and will post comparison pictures. The screen is gorgeous and there is a clear difference!

Haha it is the most un-user friendly, unintuitive pile of crap I've used since getting involved in using Apple products. The simplest of tasks made awkward.
I love the products but despise that software.![]()
I've genuinely never had a problem with it, what do you have trouble doing?
Christ I don't want to clog up this thread.
Mine's turned up from UPS. Sat at work staring at it now....at least it gives me time to try and find a use for it!?

Wtf? For starters I went for the 'entry' model for this exact reason, and I don't see it as a huge problem as I'm pretty confident I can sell it on easily within a month or so without losing much/any money.
contains a couple of swear words
I know what you mean - I didn't fully understand the point of them either in the past. I have a laptop and a desktop already, plus an iphone. But what I'm going to end up doing is ditching the laptop and run an ipad and wireless apple keyboard to replace that for heavy duty typing at home / travelling, while having the flexibility of using the ipad as screen only for meeting papers / ward work.
For me it makes sense as a work tool, but I'm still not convinced I'd have gone for one if I didn't have a specific use for it as that. My iphone handles my location app / maps / mobile email well enough and my desktop does my multimedia at home.
