Mines arrived - can confirm the red is more peach than red red. So despite apple assuring me ‘I would love it’ it’s going back.
Phone is nice enough, fast as you would expect with a nice bright screen.
Interestingly I compared the screen with a four year old S7 edge and there isn’t much in it. Apple had more natural colours but the Samsung screen is bigger (for 16x9 video) and more vivid.
I might go for a pro max instead (for longevity of the increased ram), or even an 11 if a decent retailer matches the price on Very (550 for 128gb). Not sure the 12 is worth 300 more, or represents a good middle ground to the pro/pro max.

How odd to buy it, open it then send back?
In normal circumstances I would not do this however Apple said it was too late to cancel an order (3 days ago) and advised me to try it, and if still wanted to return it send it back within 14 days.

How is it? I've heard plenty about this blue colour, and it does look very different in different lights so im not sure what to expect!
I'm itching! Just need the phone.
Will order mine when I get back from Spa, thinking the normal 12 now rather than the Mini..
I quite like the look of that leather case so will be waiting to see how it's reported on the MagSafe side of things by the guys that have ordered one..
Also, are people really that bothered about the notch?
Its not like there's another option, other than to have the screen go straight across the top of the device, would people rather have that than the notch?

with apple care you can pretty much get it done the day you broke it.
bank insurance normally need quote first then tell you to go ahead delay things
Personally think it’s a complete rip off. Put it this way 2 year AC is 20% the cost of a 12Pro. Must be a lot of risk averse consumers to let them get away with charging that. It’s like buying a new BMW and getting your car insurance and tyre/alloy/GAP insurance with them, you pay through the roof!
