***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

My battery is lasting quite well at the moment. Getting a couple of days, slightly better than my htc desire was. For my use anyway, suits me fine. Bearing in mind i dont really make too many calls (work phone for that) but i text quite abit.

I didn't get to order the bumper when I ordered the phone as it was out of stock. I like the minimilist idea of the bumper, but considering the price of the official one I want to see it first as I am sure there will ebay knockoffs that do the same thing for a fraction of the price, soon enough.

I've tweaked the gamma settings on my N4 and now it looks awesome. I been comparing it will my iPad 3 and now my N4 looks better. The iPad display is quite yellow.
 
i really should stop checking this and the xda threads plus the order status and just wait till it arrives in january :D

Thanks. Just out of curiosity, Is the size of the "face" the same as the S3, if both are placed face to face without cases on?

I didn't realise the bumper was silver along the sides either :(

I was expecting something all Black that wraps around the edge of the phone like the old Iphone 4 bumpers. Thus protecting the edges all round and elevating the front and back slightly so they absorb impact instead of the glass if dropped face/back down.

Can you just do 2 pictures, one with no case, front facing, and one with it on, front facing? Same with the side with the volume buttons? in the 2 most important shots you have your ugly S3 on top of the Nexus!!!

No rush, and only if you have time.

Sounds very promising.

Also grabbed myself a Best skins ever, saw some really good things over at XDA and it also on sale now, got 2 for £10 including delivery which is amazing compared to the Zagg ones which are generally rated to not be as good as the best skins ever.

Nobody will know for definite unless they do/don't turn up tomorrow I guess. My instinct is that it means they have no stock for us at the moment and they're showing that finally. My colleague who was originally a 3-5 day man is still showing as "complete" in there...

More or less the same, the BSE tend to suffer from the orange peal affect less which would have been very annoying for me. BSE don't offer the same lifetime replacement as Zagg, but for the price difference it seems worth it too me got 2 for less than 1/2 of the price.
 
So after receiving the standard copy/ paste email reply to my query regarding pre-order change I sent a reply asking them to actually read my first email......and I got a response from a human!!! I was quite shocked! :P

Well she seemed very sincere, pre-order change means my order has changed to back order status as they don't have enough stock. They hope to get some but don't know when. She had heard of later estimates getting their orders and she said they had asked about this (to the higher ups) but had received no response. Apologised a few times and that was about it....ah well was in no great rush.
