***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

They seem utterly useless. What number are you guys using to call them on?

I've spoken to so many different numbers, normally call the CS line, I have tired the wallet department too. Going to call again tomorrow and see whats going on.

Funny gf ordered the phone 5mins after me and hers one shipped and mines on pre-order now.

Yeh no order of delivery whatsoever. I'll call tomorrow. Thanks.

for some reason this phone wont recognise my sim card, its a virgin sim and was cut down from its normal sim to a mini-sim so it used to work in my iphone but the nexus 4 isnt picking it up.. any ideas?

1 day 13 hours with 28% left with moderate use , few phone calls, emails, browsing and a few texts (bluetooth, gps turned off). This phone has been charged from ~10-20% battery each night to full. Network strength at home where I've been for most of the weekend is 2 bars. Was a little concerned about battery life but this weekend has made me happier.

I had this as well, it seemed to be because the gold contacts on my SIM missing the ones on the Nexus 4 - probably down to me bodging the cutting.

So I ordered a replacement SIM card from T-Mobile. There's a story here actually:

I phoned up T-Mobile on a Friday evening for a replacement. Woman on the phone says it's £10 for a micro SIM and kept on saying it's a new SIM card and therefore I have to pay the £10, even though I'm already on a contract.
I tell her that I pay less than £10 a month for my contract and then after a couple minutes on hold, she says I can have it for free!

Fast forward to the Wednesday.

I phone up T-Mobile and complain that my new SIM card hasn't arrived and that they had disconnected my old one before delivering my new one.
After being put through to some other department, a woman there offered me £10 off my Jan and Feb bills!

So, you may need a replacement like me! :)

Thanks for the information Locke,

Seems like you had the same problem as me, I just tested a free giff-gaff sim and it recognises that so its not the phone. (Knew there was a good reason for getting a spare sim)

My normal virgin sim was cut down at a shop for £1 and it worked in my iphone but it isnt as flush as the giff-gaff that is perfectly cut, think thats why it is not recognising it.

Will call 789 tomorrow to request a new simcard, guess its back to the huawei g300 for a few more days then! cracking phone tho - both of them.

Seems like sims are free for existing customers -

edit - managed to break my "normal sim size template" when moving the sim out ha, glad I had that one from giff-gaff as I would have been without a phone for a few days lol :S
