***The Official LG Nexus 4 Thread***

I've got sat on my desk

Media Devil Clear - latest batch with no cut out of proximity sensor
Media Devil Matte -pre release development, sent to me for testing

Expert Shield front and back clear - latest batch

They ALL have problems. There is an order in place for a new batch of media devil clears with the cut out, but not arrived yet. The matte development version is ever so slightly too thick and is being redesigned.

Expert shield should now be withdrawn as they are all the wrong size. New batch on order and will be available soon.

From what i understand they now have done the cut out for the proximity Sensor do could be worth contacting there support to clarify.

How is it with feel/fingerprints and this colour seperation or possibly clarity.

I do get the Newton ring effect when the screen is off

Going to email them once they have new cut out covers in stock to see if i can exchange them.

Slight issue with mine last night. Battery was down to about 30%, plugged it into the charger as normal when I went to bed. Immediately it came up as 100% charged. Unplugged the charger, still showed 100%. Rebooted the phone and when it had restarted battery was at 28%. Plugged in the charger and it proceeded to charge as normal. Anybody else experienced similar?

Yeah I've had that once, although the battery wasn't very low at the time. I plugged it in and it said charged even though it had been showing about 90% before plugging in, powered off and back on and plugged in again and it charged as normal.

Had that on about 5 different android phones once or twice. Either ignore or as you did reboot. More android issue or something crashed than harcware/phone issue

Last night i charged my phone to full, went to bed, woke up my bnattery was down 30% to 70% :/ culprit on the battery bit was mediaserver? any rasons for this? its the first time its done it, usually only uses 3% over night idle. I did use sky go no my phone yesterday could it be something like that not closed properly?

Still loving my N4 nothing tempting me to change at the mo. Running Whitehawkx AOKP and Trinity Kernel. Got SaberMod on my sisters N4 and that is blazing fast!

Would be a bit cautious with rumours like that. The GNex had similar rumours going round for ages about increased storage space but they never came to light. Google's reasoning for not including LTE with the Nexus 4 from the get-go would be disproved (but the logic behind those reasons are another matter). Presuming that Google will be having yearly releases for their devices from now on, they'll probably wait until the next Nexus phone to include LTE.

I swear something is wrong with my phone and constantly getting under 3 hours on screen time. And the suspend_backoff wakelock has reared it's ugly head on this replacement. Sigh.
