there's a free trial you can use to evaluate it before purchasing.

also £5 for something which will last you a lifetime is nothing.

i am guessing the fact you are using headphone out instead of line out is the problem. you are using an already amped signal and then putting it into another amp.

im guessing the amp inside the nexus 4 is a cheap one.

i have a nexus 4 and a pioneer bluetooth head unit, i can connect by AUX or bluetooth but i do neither because they are essentially crap when compared to USB. so i use a usb drive instead.

Well I have these options:

£22/M Unl m/tx and 1Gb (Free phone, 2 year Contract, Total: £528)

or Sim Free for £380-£400 and Then Sim only with Three/Vir/Giffgaff.

These deals are not main stream as I work for a phone shop and get decent discount :D
 
Thanks for your help guys! I only ordered my phone last night and delivery was attempted this morning! I have ordered a microsim from the o2 site too.

I also ordered a dbrand skin last night :)
 
You could always put a dbrand skin on the broken one to see how well it covers it up or i will pay the postage and give it a try if your willing to part with it.:D

been googling and i see loads have the same issue and the same crack by the lens, the pick above could be my phone, its almost identical

forked out £50 for a new back direct from LG :( not happy as it was not dropped

Had a reply from media devil about the screen protector I've got for the n4.

They have made a new one now with a cut out hole for the proximity sensor

Asked me to send my unused me back to them and they will send me a new set.

Freeport return too which I'm impressed with lol

On a side note, enjoying paranoid android and Franco kernel, both come with an app that auto updates rom and kernel so no messing around downloading zip files and going to cwm recovery. (Franco ones paid for the other is free and call PA updater from the play store.
