It's £5! Is it really necessary? Why isn't the normal music player good enough?
there's a free trial you can use to evaluate it before purchasing.
also £5 for something which will last you a lifetime is nothing.
i am guessing the fact you are using headphone out instead of line out is the problem. you are using an already amped signal and then putting it into another amp.
im guessing the amp inside the nexus 4 is a cheap one.
i have a nexus 4 and a pioneer bluetooth head unit, i can connect by AUX or bluetooth but i do neither because they are essentially crap when compared to USB. so i use a usb drive instead.
